"Hey, Michael." called out Danny, pulling me back from my thoughts.
"Yeah," I said.
"Finally, I've been calling you for five minutes! Did you find yourself in that big, empty brain of yours?"
"Oh piss off," I grumbled, wanting to throw something at him I didn't have anything but my laptop, phone, and that Teddy Bear Micky's friend Kaila had sent him for Valentine's Day last year. I really didn't want to remind Micky that it was still alive. Kaila went through a lot of trouble to learn how to hand make the bear, just for him and I applauded the girl. I just she wouldn't have named it McHanzo. (Overwatch reference)
It took a lot for us to hold Micky back from burning little, sweet, cute McHanzo the second he opened the package and saw the bear. It would have been fine and we could have renamed it the bear, just to spite Kaila, but the evil girl had sewn the name right into the bear's foot.
It was a really cute bear though and I and Danny wanted it to live, which is why it lives in my room.
Even though the evil cunt, as Micky called her, had done that, I knew he still appreciated the gesture.
So, somehow, through promises of lots of cuddles from both of us and snack packs, we were able to convince him to let the bear live.
For now.
So I was not going to tempt the bear's fate just to throw it at Danny.
Even though it would be really satisfying.
"I knew it," Danny said with a confident smile. "Anyway, I've gotta go and pick up that package from the post office, keep our Little Koala happy while I am gone, alright?"
"Fine," I grumbled out, doing my best not to smile at the fact that Danny called Micky Our Koala, as he often did.
"Oh don't fuckin act like that you little bitch. You know you love taking care of him just as much as I do." commented Danny.
"Oi! I am not some fuckin helpless baby that needs to be taken care all the time." Micky said, offended as always.
"We know." said Danny.
"But we also know you love it," I added.
"So just accept it Little Koala."
The younger boy was silent for a second before he began pouting, crossing his arms over his chest.
"Doesn't mean you need to do it constantly." he mumbled.
"Yes it does." said Danny, moving to wrap his arms around the slightly bigger boy, sending an ache into my chest as I watched him pull Micky to him, situating the boy in his lap.
I wish I could do that whenever I wanted to...I mean, I could, but not often or it would look suspicious...
Micky groaned and complained, even as he moved to get comfortable in my brother's lap, "No it doesn't. Anyway, why don't I just go with you to go pick up the package from the Post?"
"Cause Little Koala, "said Danny, nuzzling his face against Micky's smooth face. "I am walking there and we all know how much you hate any form of exercise?" Danny continued to nuzzle against him as he spoke, bringing a smile to the younger boys face as he nuzzled back sweetly, his earlier pouting, forgotten.
