•{Vaughn's POV}•

Soon came the dreaded sleepover at Theo's cabin. I knew Chase didn't want me there, but Theo insisted that I come.

Honor picked me up at my house, sitting me in the front seat with her. She gave me her phone and told me I was the DJ.

As we drove, my mind wandered to Bear (the cat I tripped on). I left him upstairs, in our unused attic. I made sure to leave food and newspapers for him to do his business. I hoped my mother wouldn't find him. She didn't like animals very much. Even though I loved Bear, she probably wouldn't like him.

When we arrived at Theo's cabin, Im greeted by Lacey, bubbly and grinning, pulling me inside in her pajamas. Honor ran in after me, laughing at my dumbfounded expression.

"Good, you guys are here. We were just about to play a game of truth or dare!" Lacey beamed. I smiled, following her into the living.

"Where's Theo?" I asked, scanning the room for him. Lacey pointed into the kitchen, not replying as she shoved food in her face. I laughed and walked over to the kitchen.

"Theo?" I called. Theo popped his head up from where it was hidden behind the cupboard.

"Hey Vaughn!" He smirked, pulling out a bowl and filling it with pretzels. "I'm so glad you're here!"

Theo rounded the counter, running over to give me a hug. I gasped at the kindness, but wrapped my arms around him.

As he pulled away, I held out my hands, in them was a plastic container filled with cupcakes. Theo smiled, thanking me and laying the cupcakes down on the counter.

"Go in the living room, we're going to play truth or dare," Theo said, and I pretended like Lacey hadn't already told me.

"Do you need help bringing anything in?" I inquired, already picking up the pretzel bowl for him. Theo blinked at me, like he didn't expect me to actually help him.

"Thanks."

I carried in the pretzel bowl, Theo carrying in cups and a bottle of Pepsi behind me. We laid the things down on the coffee table, and we both sat down on the couch. Everyone was gathered around, even Chase, who I actually saw a smile on for once. It faltered, though, when he noticed I was there.

"I'm going first!" Cara announced, sitting up tall and smiling. "Okay... Chase! Truth or dare?"

Chase looked up absently, huffing gently before responding.

"Dare," he mumbled.

"I dare you to not look like someone just cut the head off your dog and showed it to you!"

Everyone erupted into laughter, but I didn't dare. I knew I'd get an evil scowl if I did, and I really wasn't in the mood for that right then.

Chase gave Lacey a smack on the back of the head, but he didn't stop laughing.

"Okay okay, Chase, ask someone," Honor interrupted, clearly trying to keep the peace.

"Um, let me think..." Chase tapped his chin in mock thought, before rolling his eyes at Honor. "No."

This time, Chase laughed too. I gave a small smile, not laughing out loud.

"Fine, lets skip Chase then. Lacey, ask someone."

"Vaughn, truth or dare?"

I looked up at Lacey, not even contemplating the question.

"Dare."

"Look up the lyrics to 'let it go' and sing the whole thing."

"Look up the lyrics? I know it off by heart."
