Chapter 3

The night was going so well, we started making plans for me to move in. "I have something for you let's go" he says As were walking to the car im thinking what could he want to give me this night as been so great already. He opens my door and there is a heart shaped box with a bow wrapped around it "alex whats this for? You shouldn't have gottin me anyth" he cuts me off. "please just open it" he says I do what he says and it was a heart shapped locket with my families picture inside I want to cry this is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me. He takes the locket and puts it around my neck for some reason this moment gave me butterflies I don't know if i was nervous or if I really liked him "it looks really nice on you" he says I hug him I'm just so happy I feel so safe in his arms.

"Alex I never said thank you for saving me"

"It's no big deal but honestly when I saw it was you my heart literally stopped"

"Why alex" I ask

"Because i-i thought you were dead I didn't know what to do" I can see in Alex's eyes that he wanted to cry.

"Alex look at me" he looks at me and all I can see is worry in his eyes.

"I'm alive because of you you saved me and it means so much to me I'm OK and it's all because of you alex" the worry quickly leaves from his face and he smiles "ok let's get you home beautiful".

15 minutes later I'm back at miah's house

"How was the date" miah says "It was great look miah I don't want to hurt you or anything I love living here but it hurts me so much seeing and being around a family right now. Alex asked me to move in with him and I said yes I hope your not mad" I sit there and wait to see what her reaction is "I know it's hurting you to be here but I'm not hurt or mad I'm actually happy if your happy and I think alex can protect you come on lets start paking your things" Me and miah have always been good at talking to eachother about any and everything so I knew she would understand maybe this move could be good for us. So are you scared to live with him miah asked As I'm getting my bag from her closet to pack my things.

"yes miah I'm scared but I'm really nervous me and alex really don't know eachother but I feel safe with him I know it sounds strange but for the first time since I lost my family I feel safe with alex Miah I hope you'll come over to visit me who knows maybe liam will be there I know y'all like eachother alot"

"yea I like him miah says look at how sexy he is who wouldn't like him"

"yes your right miah" we just look at eachother and laugh

"So what about you" miah asked

"What about me" I ask back in a confusing tone of voice

"Oh don't play I know you like alex I see how you look at him"

"Ye-yes I like alex alot but with everything that has happened I'm scared to have any relationship with anyone"

"I understand" miah says

The next morning I'm woken up by my alarm on my phone "omg let me hurry and cut this off before I wake miah up" but I look over and she's gone where is she? miah? miah? "where are you" still no response I yell her dads name and her mom's name I get no answer. I got so scared because it made me think back on the night of the fire and the night I lost my family I started to go into a panic I'm still looking all over for her. When all of a sudden I hear a car pull up outside I run out the front door and I ran so fast into his arms he barely had time to shut the door.

"hey hey what's wrong" he asked

"Alex i'm so glad your here i was so scared where is miah and her family?
