'so this one time, my friends had the brilliant idea of going to a haunted house.'
may was currently telling a story. jack had this idea of the two telling each other their favorite memories. may agreed immediately.
'i actually didn't want to go. that shit scared the hell out of me. when we arrived there guess who was still trying not to enter the house!' she asked sarcastically.
'was it you?'
'how did you know?'
'just felt like it.'
'so when we entered there weren't anything scary. we decided to go deeper into the house. after a lot of walking an old lady came out of the dark.'
'what happened?'
'turns that the house wasn't haunted. mrs. hathaway just went to live with her son for a couple of months.'
     jack laughed.
'so people were scared of an old lady?' he laughed harder.
'no!' she laughed while trying to explain mrs. hathaways dogs were there, but died after she went. you see she was and old lady who forgot many things. when the dogs barking got regular people went to check on them. but the dogs were barely living. so the people made stories of them being zombies.
'your turn!' she said loudly. he tried to hushed her while they were both laughing. their laughed were cut by the plane shaking.
'shit.' she said holding the handles. she liked plane rides, but when there were turbulence she got scared too easily.
when she was little her friend always used to be scared from plane rides, thinking they would crash. when they were both 15 she went to italy with her family. when they were flying above the sea, the plane came crashing down, nobody got hurt, the passengers were all safe but now not only her friend, but she was scared of flights.
just because she turned eighteen she decided to make a fresh start. she went to italy, then france, and lastly spain. here she was, flying to new jersey.
as her grip fighting on the handles her hand started to hurt.
'hey, you okay?' he asked gently while taking her hands off the handles.
she shook her head as the announcement started telling the passengers to calm down. she let out a breath.
soon everything turned back to normal. she relaxed an opened her eyes that were shut tight.
'so one day before a concert,' jack started in attempt to calm her down. she looked at him in disbelief. he smiled and continued.
'we headed to meet and greet,' as he continued talking she watched him closely. she studied his features. his eyes, his eyebrows. she smiled widely. she was happy. so happy.
