-----(Y/N)'S POV----

*BEEP BEEP BEEP*

     I groaned and reached over to the side of my bed to turn off my alarm clock. I tried to get some sleep, but was unfortunately able to do so, thanks to my cat. Sherl jumped up onto my bed, and walked over to my head. She sat down and began pawing at my face, signalling that she wanted some food. I swatted her paw away and rolled over. She then jumped over, and repeated the motion. I opened my eyes to see her sleek black fur. I sighed and pulled back my covers. I swung my legs over the side of my bed after Sherl jumped down. I let my feet hit the soft carpet as I stood up. I left my room and walked down the hall towards the kitchen. I noticed my mother sitting at the table, drinking her usual morning coffee and typing on her laptop.

"Morning Sleepyhead." She acknowledged.

     "Mornin'" I mumbled, too tired to give a full response. She then turned her attention back to her laptop. I swiftly filled Sherl's food dish and pet him. I turned on the keurig, and went to the fridge and grabbed some milk. I opened a cabinet, and took some cheerios, then got a bowl. I poured the cereal then the milk, and got a spoon. I grabbed a mug, then put it under the keurig and pushed the ten ounce button. Then, I grabbed a tea and some sugar. I took my mug and put the teabag in and let it steep. I poured in the sugar, then grabbed my food and sat across from my mom.

    I started eating the cereal, and drinking the tea. I noticed my mother kept glancing toward me during breakfast. "Something wrong?" I asked, putting another spoonful of cereal in my mouth.

"Nothing, just looking at your bed head..." She responded as I raised my eyebrow.

     "Ok.." I accepted. I stood up and put the dishes in the sink and went to go get ready. I took a brisk shower, and went to my closet. I picked out a black skirt, and a white crop top that said 'California Dreamin' I then applied a light amount of makeup, then slipped on some converse. I grabbed backpack and left my room. As I left the house I shouted to my mom "Love you! see you after school!" She waved back and I shut the door. I walked to the bus stop and waited with the others. The pulled up and the doors opened. I got on and sat down next to (Y/B/F/B)

"Well you looked tired." Was the first thing she said. 

"I am.. I got like 5 hours of sleep, and got woken up by my cat." I responded, half awake.

     "Makes sense." She stated then looked out of the window. I pulled out my earbuds and plugged them into my phone. I put them in my ears and put on some Shakira. I didn't realize we were at school until (Y/B/F/N) hit my arm. I took out my earbuds and put them away. I grabbed my bag and got off the bus. I went inside the school and started off to my first class.

     I walked inside the door at home and tossed my backpack onto the couch. I sat down and watched TV while I started on my homework. I finished everything and payed attention to the screen. After about 15 minutes my mother grabbed the remote and shut it off. "Hey!" I exclaimed.

     "We need to talk." Oh yay, that's a good thing..... I nodded, telling her to continue. "You have a great life here, but, we have to move." She stated bluntly. My jaw dropped, and I swear my mind snapped out of reality. I have to abandon my friends, leave everything behind, and start a new life. In the middle of the school year....This can't be good.
