We were across the street from a restaurant when I felt something cold hit my shoulder. I looked in that general direction, and saw that my shoulder was wet. "Something wrong?" Peter asked, wen he noticed I stopped in my tracks.

"I think I felt a raindrop." Right after I had said that, Thunder cracked thought the sky as clouds flew in. Then almost like magic, rain then started to pour down.

"Come on!" Peter exclaimed, grabbing my hand. We ran across the street, giggling like 5 year-olds. We reached the sidewalk and ran into the restaurant, soaking wet.

"May I help you too?" A man at the podium said

"Yea, um could we get a table for two?" Peter asked kindly.

"Let us get you some towels first, so you can dry up." The man then ran off to the back and brought back two towels. We pat ourselves down, and then the man led us to a booth. We sat down and he handed us two menus. We unfolded them and sat in silence until we figured out. I set mine down after I had decided that I would get some garlic roasted king crab legs.

"What are you gonna get?" I questioned Peter. He slowly put down the menu, still staring at it.

"Probably lobster thermidor." He then looked up and smiled. We had stared at each other unknowingly for a couple seconds.

"Hello my name is Kelly and i'll be your waitress today. May I get you started off with some drinks?" We broke our gaze and looked up at the waitress.

"Yea i'll have a Chai green tea with milk and sugar please." I told the waitress. She wrote it down and turned her attention to Peter.

"Can I have a coffee with creamer and 3 sugars?"

"Of course." She wrote it down "I'll be back soon with your drinks and to take your orders." She smiled and walked away. We kept a casual conversation until Kelly came back with our drinks. "Are you ready to order?"

"Yep. I'll have 8 garlic roasted king crab legs."

     "Mild, medium, or hot?"

"Mild, please." She once again turned her attention towards Peter after writing down my order.

"I'll take the Lobster Thermidor please." He smiled, and we handed her our menus. She walked away once more and then Peter turned to me and began speaking. "So what's your favorite TV show?" I thought for a bit before deciding

"Sherlock for sure." His eyes widened, almost with excitement.

"That's one of my favorites! Who's your favorite character?" He questioned with a smile.

"Moriarty for sure! But Mary is a great character. She's pretty badass." (I WON'T REVEAL ANY SPOILERS, I PROMISE!)

"Mine's Sherlock, for obvious reasons. Also, watch your language Missy!" He teased. I chuckled in response.

     "Favorite movie?" I asked

     "Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back"

"I like star wars, but my favorite movie has to be Suicide Squad." I smiled.

"Not a bad movie." He laughed. I turned my attention to the waitress when she walked back over with our drinks and food.
We began eating our food, enjoying every bite. "Mmm" I licked my lips.

"This is amazing!" I appluaded. Peter chuckled.

"Same with mine. This place was a good choice instead of McDonald's or something." I smiled at him and continued eating. We finished our meal and the waitress came and took our plates away. She later came back with the check and I took a glance at it before Peter swiftly picked it up.

My eyes widened at the sight. "75 dollars?!" Peter looked up, noticing the waitress was gone.

"Yep. And I'm paying." He responded.

"You don't have to, its fine I'll help."

"Nope. I'm paying. This is a date after all." His eyes quickly widened at what he had just said. "Well, I mean.... That's if y-you want it to, to be..." He stuttered, blushing.

"No no, it's fine. I actually like the idea of a, a date." I felt the heat rising to my cheeks. He smiled and bit his lip. The waitress came back and took the money. We stood up and prepared to walk outside.

     "Ready?" Peter asked.

"Yep." I grabbed my jacket and put it over my head. Peter pushed open the door and we bolted. We ran as fast as we could to our apartment building. We ran up the stairs and stopped in front of our doors. "You know, I had a really fun time today." I bit my lip and looked down, rocking back and forth on my feet.

"Me too." Peter blushed and fiddled with his fingers. We glanced at each other and slowly stepped forward. I went in for a hug and he wrapped his arms around my waist. We pulled away and looked at each other.

I felt my heart racing, and I was breathing heavily. I was then pulled out of my thoughts when I noticed Peter was leaning in. I did so as well until our lips connected.

It was everything I imagined, and better. I moved my lips in sync with his. I felt him smile into the kiss, putting his hands on my waist. I wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him closet. We soon had to pull away for air.

He was breathing heavily. "Do I guess I'll see you tomorrow?" He questioned.

"Yea." I bit my lip and blushed. "Well um.... Yeah. Bye." I stepped towards my door to open it.

"Bye." I walked inside my apartment and noticed my mom sitting on the couch watching TV. She must've heard me because she turned and faced me.

"Oh. Hey honey how was your day?" She asked.

"It was really good. Peter and I walked around town."

     "That's good."

"I'm gonna go to bed. I'm tired." I dismissed and left to my room. I put on some pajama shorts and a shirt. I got under the covers. All I could think about was what happened today. Especially this morning.
