Chapter 11

~Alicia's POV~

The next day I woke up in fear. I knew Dark Lord was coming.

I got up and looked at my arm to see it was healed.

I threw on my Death Eater robes and decided not to throw on makeup.

I combed my hair and heard him fly in. I shakily set down my comb and looked ahead.

"I'm glad to see you still here."

I nodded not daring to say a word.

He put his hand on my shoulders and I shuddered.

"I know you want to make up for what you have done. Am I correct?"

I wanted to say no but I knew it was the wrong answer.

"Of course." I whispered.

"Good. Your mother will be here momentarily. You and her will be going on a mission together."

"And what am I supposed to be doing on this mission?" I said staring at him through the mirror.

"Your mother will fill you in."

"No offense my lord but I'd rather hear from you."

"I figured as much."

I nodded and he continued.

"I want you to kill a muggle family. Any kind you want."

"And if I don't want to kill any?" I blurted.

All of a sudden he pushed me against the wall and his hand was at my throat.

"You will kill a muggle family Alicia. They are filthy creatures and they simply don't belong. You will do as I say. Do I make myself clear?"

Tears came down my face as I choked out "Yes my lord."

"Good girl."

Moments later my mother appeared and she smirked at me.

I sighed and walked to her and she jumped out the window and I followed her.

I grew my wings and flew after her.

We flew all the way to London and landed in a little town.

I scanned the town and saw children playing.

"Look at them. Disgusting creatures."

I turned my back not wanting to look.

"How can you live with yourself? Muggles are the reason why we have to hide."

"I know this. Just makes no sense on why we have to kill them."

"They create the mudbloods."

"Yes I know."

She sighed and grabbed my arm a bit roughly and pulled me to her and made me look.

"Choose one."

I looked around and my eyes rested on a little girl with dark brown hair that curled beautifully. Her eyes were a gorgeous brown and she looked happy as she chased her father. Her mother staring at them happily.

"Perfect pick my dear."

"What? No! I'm not killing them!"

"Yes you will. And I know just how to make you."

She pointed her wand at me and said "imperio."

My mind went blank and I lost control of everything.

I could feel an evil smirk spread on my face as I watched the family.

I waited until dark until I was told to make my move.

I flew in the air and silently opened the window.

I slipped in and stared at the little girl. I went into the parents room and I lifted my wand pointing it at the mother.

All of a sudden a hand covered my mouth and I flipped the guy in fear and my senses came over me and I panicked.

"What the hell? John!" The woman said in fear.

"Stay there Anna!" The guy said looking at me darkly.

The woman named Anna looked at me and realization hit her.

"John. She wasn't in her right mind."

"And how do you know this?" He said glancing at her.

"Her eyes changed."

He looked at me and realization hit him.

"What happened to you?" He asked.

"If I told you you wouldn't believe me. Now you must hurry before she comes." I said.

All of a sudden, a crashing sound was heard and my mother emerged.

The woman screamed and a green light hit her in the chest.

"Anna! No!" The guy screamed. His eyes welled with tears as he stared at her dead body.

Then I remembered. The daughter.

I ran for the door and yanked it open and something wrapped around my ankle causing me to fall.

"Not this time Alicia."

My head hurt and I got dragged to her.

"If you don't kill him, I will kill Draco."

I turned to the man and he went to open his mouth and I shook my head and I whispered in his mind "think don't talk."

He looked alarmed for a moment but calmed down.

"Protect my daughter." He thought.

I nodded and mouthed "always."

He nodded and pointed my wand at him.

"Avada Kedavra."

And the man fell to the ground dead.

We heard sirens and my mother growled.

"We will be back for the girl."

"I'll take care of her you go."

She smiled and she said "That's my girl." And she flew off.

I ran to her room and saw she was gone.

I opened the closet door and saw her crying.

"P-please don't kill me." The girl said sobbing.

"Shh. Little one. I'm here to protect you." I conjured up a necklace and held it for her.

I showed her performing a spell and she looked amazed.

"This necklace is enchanted. The police will put you in the foster system. This necklace will light up when your true family comes. Don't tell anyone you saw me or magic. Do you understand?"

She nodded taking in the information.

"What's your name darling?" I asked.

"MacKenzie."

"I'm Alicia. You will be safe now. I put a picture of your parents in the necklace. Stay safe and hidden."

"Yes mam."

"Now I'm gonna leave ok?"

"Ok."

I smiled and disaparated from site.
