Chapter 14

~Alicia's POV~

The bridge was exploding and the Death Eaters were coming.

The war has finally began.

I spread my wings out quickly and jumped off the roof and soared through the air.

I saw a little boy fighting a Death Eater and I stopped down to help him.

I successfully disarmed him and threw him back a few feet. Giving me enough time to pick the boy up and bring him in time.

"What the hell are you doing kid? I get your a Gryffindor and all but don't lose your common sense! What's your name?" I said looking at him in shock while deflecting hexes with ease.

"Colin Creevy Miss Snape."

"First of all don't call me that. I feel old. Second of all kid your too young to die. Go home to your family and hide."

"Harry Potter was young. And he didn't die. Who is to say I will?"

That hit me. He was right in a way but he had a whole life ahead of him.

Finally after a while I sighed and said "Stay close to any older student. Do what you can. Stay strong little man. I hope you make it."

"Really? Thanks miss!" He said with a huge smile on his face.

"Do not call me miss and make sure you do as I say!" I yelled as he ran out.

I sighed and all of a sudden there was an explosion near me and I had to duck to cover my head I looked up to see a masked Death Eater coming near me.

I threw a hex their way and he or she deflected it easily.

I aimed right for the mask and I wasn't surprised to see Trevor.

He looked pretty pissed though.

He disarmed me with ease and I ran into the wall in fear.

He grabbed me by the neck and threw me to the ground and I grunted in pain as he hovered over me.

"Is this what you want Snape?!" He said picking me up as he punched me in the face.

"Is this the true side your on?! With a bunch of Mudbloods and Blood Traitors!" He said throwing me to the ground kicking me in the stomach.

I screamed in pain and covered my stomach.

"My father has gave you several chances and this is how you show your thankful?! How do you even live with yourself?"

I was in pain but the war is going on and I had to be strong. I looked at my wand and held my hand out thinking "Accio."

My wand slowly came to me and I pointed it at him standing up.

"You want to know how I live with myself? I am disgusted with myself of what I became. I am proud that I chose these people. This is how everyone is now. It doesn't matter what kind of blood you have. What matters is how you present yourself. Now you go to your bloody father and tell him this. I'm here at Hogwarts. If he wants me so bloody bad he can come get me his own bloody self. But he better be prepared. I have been Claimed. I am both Light and Dark. Which means my mother could try to kill me and it wouldn't work since I hold more power than her."

He looked scared for the first time and I shot a hex at him knocking him over and he ran off.

I turned and saw Maria smiling.

I smiled back and took off the necklace handing it to her.

"Go. Get out of here. Save yourself."

"Never. I'm here with you. I'm fighting along side my sister."

She slipped the necklace on and did the same thing I did.

A bright light surrounded her and I had to cover my eyes to shield them.

When it went away I had to blink a few times until my vision came back.

When I did I looked back in shock.

She no longer had black hair and black eyes. She had blonde hair and blue eyes.

She saw my face and looked confused.

An explosion near her brought her to reality and I grabbed her saying "Blonde hair blue eyes. I'm assuming your light. Now let's get moving."

"Gladly." She said smiling.

I grabbed her hand and pulled her with me outside.

We went around helping others and fighting other Death Eaters.

Sooner or later we were surrounded and me and Maria were stuck in the middle.

"Ready sis?" I asked.

"As much as you are." She said.

I conjured up fire in my hands while she rose the ground up to bring us up.

I held my hands up ready and I yelled "NOW!"

She quickly threw the ground down and conjured up her own fire throwing it at the Death Eaters.

Some of them were smart and ran off while the others got hit and we're being burned alive.

We fought together for hours until the same ringing sound went off and his voice went off.

"You have fought valiantly, but in vain. I do not wish this. Every drop of magical blood spilled is a terrible waste. I therefore command my forces to retreat. In their absence, dispose of your dead with dignity. Harry Potter, I now speak directly to you. On this night, you have allowed your friends to die for you, rather than face me yourself. There is no greater dishonor. Join me in the Forbidden Forest, and confront your fate. If you do not do this, I shall kill every last man, woman and child who tries to conceal you from me. You have one hour."

I looked in horror to Maria and she did the same.

Realization hit her and she said "Alicia your father."

"What do you mean?" I said confused yet worried.

"He knows. He knows that the wand isn't loyal."

I froze but ran off towards off the grounds.
