Chapter 12

~Alicia's POV~

I have done a lot of those missions lately. I always had no choice to kill the parents but I always spared the children.

I always conjured up something to keep them safe and to help them with life.

I would know if they were ever in danger by a mark forming on my right arm.

I conjured a different thing of jewelry for each child so I wouldn't get confused.

Whether it was a ring or a certain type of clip.

I've been secretly writing to Harry too.

Telling him the Dark Lord's next move and decisions whenever I find out.

I stared at the ceiling and waited for my next kill.

The room all of a sudden got colder but I stayed put.

Instead I said "Who is it this time?"

"No one. I just received word that Harry Potter was spotted in Hogsmede." A different voice said.

I sat up and saw one of the snatchers.

"Sorry I was expecting someone else. How long ago?"

"Just moments ago."

"I'll warn my father. You may go."

He nodded and disaparated from sight.

I walked to my closet and opened the door and grabbed my book and a box.

I opened the box and slipped the necklace I got in my second year on and opened the book to the claiming page.

I read all the information I needed to be claimed and closed it.

I would need to be at my most powerful if I wanted to beat the Dark Lord.

I turned around and knocked right into something.

I looked up to see my father.

"Your thinking your going to be claimed don't you?"

"Possibly."

"I have already told you when that would happen."

"Unless I find a way to trigger it which I will. By the way he's been spotted."

He sighed and he came up to me and gave me a hug.

"Please be safe Alicia."

"Always." I said.

I ran to the Slytherin common room and went straight into Draco's arms.

He held me close and kissed my forehead.

"Whatever happens, I'll always love you."

"I love you too."

The door opened and Alecto Carrow came in saying "the headmaster has called a meeting. Get marching."

We got in line and I made sure I stood next to Draco.

We marched up to the Great Hall and I grabbed onto Draco's hand.

Once we got into the Great Hall my father stood up at front waiting for everyone else to file in.

Once everyone was in we bowed our heads and kept them there.

"I bet you are all wondering why I summoned you all at this hour."

The silence remained and he continued.

"I have received word that moments ago...Harry Potter was spotted in Hogsmede."

Whispers filled the room and my father said "Now then." Silence took over immediately and we went back to our previous position.

"Should anyone. Student or staff attempt to aid Mr. Potter. They will be punished with the consistent manner of the severity of the manner futhermore, anyone to have knowledge of these events and fails to come forward will be treated as....equally guilty."

I looked up in shock.

I knew everyone of Harry's moves. Where and when he was going to be there.

I knew 100% that he was in here now.

Harry stepped out of the crowd and everyone stared in shock.

"It seems despite your exhaustive extensive strategies you still seem to have a security problem headmaster. How dare you stand where he stood? A man who trusted you and you just sat there and watched him die."

My father pulled his wand out and so did Harry. McGonagall stepped in front of Harry and my father hesitated for a moment but stood his ground.

She shot fire at him over and over and he deflected each one.

Finally after awhile he flew off in the darkness and McGonagall shouted out "Coward! You Coward!"

I looked to Harry and smiled. He smiled back at me and mouthed "I'm sorry."

I waved him off and all of a sudden a buzzing sound came up in my head.

I covered my ears and it seemed to help a bit but not much.

Three different girls screamed in a corner and I felt sorry for them.

The Dark Lord's voice then rang through the room and he said "I know that many of you will want to fight. Some of you may even think that to fight is wise. But this is a folly. Give me Harry Potter. Do this and none shall be harmed. Give me Harry Potter, and I shall leave Hogwarts untouched. Give me Harry Potter, and you will be rewarded. You have one hour."

Everyone then looked to him alarmed and Pansy with her wand out screamed out "What are you all waiting for? Someone grab him."

Ginny walked in front of him and I followed suit.

She looked at me in shock and I said "I've never truly been on his side. You know this."

All of a sudden I heard Filch's voice say "students out of bed! Students out of bed. Students in the corridor!"

I face palmed myself and McGonagall said "they are supposed to be out of bed you blithering idiot."

"Oh. Sorry man."

"It seems your appearance is most opportune. Could you please lead Ms. Parkinson and the rest of Slytherin House except Ms. Snape here from the hall."

"And where is I will be taking them mam."

"The dungeons will do."

Everyone cheered and Draco looked at me in panic.

I sent a message to him mind saying "I will find you and I will save you."

He nodded and followed the rest.

"Potter. I'm sure your here for a reason."

"Yes. I need time though. As much as you can give me."

"I'll do my best. And it's good to see you."

"You too professor."

Harry ran off and she looked to me "you are so brave to change sides."

"I'll never changed professor."

"I'll thought you did when you killed Dumbledore."

I looked at her and she said "Yes I knew. But now I know you were forced into it."

I smiled and she said "follow Fred and George Weasly."

"Will do."
