GETTING THERE?

It's finally here after many months of waiting, it was September. This was going to be the happiest you and your friend Keely had been in your entire life, most likely. It was an 8 hour road trip but it was worth it to go see your idols, even though they were stupid dorks who yell at a camera for their life they felt more like to family to you.

This was the first Vidcon in Australia and you were so excited you could barley sit still the entire drive there. your friend had gotten her licence just before you guys got your tickets for it so she was driving part of the way there. When she wasn't driving you too were sitting in the back screaming at the top of your lungs to (y/f/s) and dancing in your seats.

You were getting closer and closer to your hotel, it was near the venue but not close enough that any YouTubers would stay at. You always hear stories about how fans run into them in the lobby or in the halls but your friends mum said not to give your hopes up.

You, Keely and her mum Jess had just booked into the hotel for the 4 day stay. On the way to you hotel room you follow Keely and her mum to room 201

" (y/n) You should message your mum and let her know you got here safely." Jess says fiddling around trying to unlock the door.

"yeah I will right now." you look down at your phone and start texting your mum.

you - Hey mum we just booked in at the hotel, got here safely

birthing parent (mum) - okay that's good to hear how is it so far!

you - yeah its good I'm so excited I'm screaming on the inside haha

birthing parent (mum) - I'm so sorry I had to work and couldn't be there with you but text me and let me know what's happening when you can

you - will do cya

As you're slipping your phone in your back pocket and basically throwing your suitcase on your bed Keely grabs your wrist and pulls you towards the door.

"And where are you two going?" Keely's mum says as she starts unpacking her suitcase into the set of drawers across from her bed.

"Were just going to go explore the hotel lobby and stuff if that's okay with you mum?"

"Okay, but don't be too long! we have to go sign in for tomorrow."

Keely and you give her a big smile and bolt down the hall way. Keely stops dead in her tracks and you look at her confused. she finally calms down enough to point at the elevator and say

"Green hair." You both rush towards the elevator but it closes and goes down before you get time to see who's inside. Because you were on the third floor there could only be two places to look, you see stairs at the end of hall and drag Keely. You both stagger to the second floor and look around no green hair can be seen in any direction so down to the lobby you both went.

When you and Keely entered the lobby you both look around, Keely spots the green haired person and points towards him.

"Look! over there is that him?"

"It cant be he's too tall?" You say knowing it wasn't him, but that little bit of hope was in the back of your mind.

The person turned around and both of your guts dropped to the soles of your feet. It wasn't him and you knew it wouldn't be. 'Why were you so stupid and to get your hopes up?' you thought to yourself. You both walk around finishing your exploring around the lobby and other places. You were in the elevator heading back to go get ready to sign in.

"You know.. we really shouldn't get our hopes up like that, its one in a million chance that it will ever happen."

"I know (y/n) but its our only chance to ever meet Sean, Mark or any of the other YouTubers. especially since we didn't get a meet and great ticket."

"Yeah it makes me sad too." you could see Keely's eyes start to swell with tears.

"But just remember we still get to see them at their panel and most likely just walking around."

"Are you still going to do what we planed ages ago?"

"Yes were still going to do the double dabbing around Jack while he does the meet and great for our vlog" you say starting to giggle.

The elevator stops on the third floor and you both get out and go to your hotel room. but as soon as you enter the room you leave just as quickly to go to sign in. you look at Keely and you both whisper;

"Its actually happening.."

okay i dont even know if this chapter is too long too short or? so let me know? I hope you guys enjoyed this chapter even though nothing happened ;-; but I promise some good stuffs going to come up :)
