II-First Day

Of course Castiel had a gorgeous boy wrapped around his waist and of course they were making out on the first day of school. Dean's starting to doubt Castiel even brings books and just had a bag full of condoms and douchery.

The crowd was already hollering at them and whistling, Dean rejoins Charlie at their locker and she instantly says "I give it three weeks" Dean rolled his eyes and scoffed.

"Two at best, the guy is too attached and Castiel doesn't have an arm around his shoulder" Charlie looks back at the two couple now headed to their classes and smirks. Dean already know she's on board of his train of thought.

"First class?" Dean takes a sharp breath and nods, propping his hand on his hip and letting Charlie lace a hand through it "First class"

Who knew that geometry sucked so much? Dean doesn't care how to find X or how to use Pythagoras or Ecledium or any of those shit rules. He was tortured furthermore when Castiel moved classes to join his boyfriend-Now identified as Troy-and their giggling was distracting. Troy was in the slap-middle of the classroom and Dean was in front of him by one row, so now Dean was hyper-aware of their whispers and sneaked kisses and he was sure he heard a moan slip in here somewhere. They had no shame whatsoever.

Dean was on good terms with troy, they were the only two people that when picked answered the teachers questions and if there is a group assignment they made sure to be on the same group. But now Dean despised his very existence and was tempted to call the teacher on them.

So when Mr.Jane said that they need to group up to the rest of the semester, Castiel was already with troy so that was out of the question. He was sure he'd have to drag his sorry ass to the front of the classroom, tell the teacher he doesn't have group and be forced to be stuck with idiot morons for the next four months.

But troy tapped his shoulder and smiled, Dean wanted to smear that smile off of his pretty little face, and asked "Wanna join. I hope you don't mind Cassy being with us" So Dean was left to either be stuck with a smart and handsome colleague, or be a dick and a selfish basterd and get stuck with stupid Assholes.

He chose the obvious.

"Sure man, Wanna group our desks together?" Troy smiled wider and Dean glanced at Cas, who was also smiling politely. Dean now noticed that Castiel had his hand down troy's thigh.

Four weeks tops.

Dean dragged his desk beside troy and they were handed their first problem.

Point A is inside the square BCDE whose side length is 20. The length of AB is 9 and the length of AE is 13. Find x the length of AC

Troy looked towards Cas who was scribbling his answer in a paper that looked worn out and crumbled. Dean already knew Castiel was a math genius and he would be faster than both of them.

You see, Castiel in fourth grade had aced his exams and was placed on the hall of fame. In fifth grade he passed through with a 100% on his report, that continued till Castiel was introduced to the beauty of art and science. He dropped math behind and focused on these two but he never lost his intellect. He still passed through with better grades than his classmates but he excelled in art and science.

Dean on the other hand barely kept his grade as a A- and had some trouble keeping up. Not because he lacked any intelligence, he just doesn't like math. He likes English though, and he has AP classes in it too.

Dean wasn't surprised when Cas passed the paper to troy with a satisfied grin while Dean was still staring at the problem quizzically.

Troy passed the paper to Dean and he read the answer

ABE: 132 = 202 + 92 - 2(20)(9)cos(T)

ACB: x2 = 202 + 92 - 2(20)(9)cos(90o - T)

Cosine's law. Damn it.

Troy was the first to talk "I think it's right, good job baby" which caused jealousy to flare in Dean's stomach and course till his fingertips. Great, now his hands were numb and aching to punch someone or something.

If he's lucky maybe Alistair would be bullying a kid and Dean would beat the shit out of him.

"Dean, do you agree?" Dean nodded before registering that it was Cas who was talking to him. It was the first time they spoke face to face and not in a group of gossipers. And Dean was barely responding. What made him feel better is that Cas knew he was right, he knew his answer was it. But he personally asked Dean if he agreed.

And that filled Dean with pride.
