to the boy with blue eyes,

you facetimed me today. you weren't kidding when you said you looked terrible.

you told me you had a fever that had been progressively getting worse. i wish i could have been there to take care of you, but of course i'd never say that to you out loud. you just rambled on and on about some topic and i'd just nod my head and impulsively laugh every once and a while.

it's nice to have someone to talk to.

you questioned me about the things in my room, however. my phone was propped up on my desk, so you got a pretty good view of what i kept in there. it was messy and unkempt. you even asked about the blades that sat on my bedside table.

i said nothing and changed the topic.
