Me and My Two Alpha Mates

Nate and Damon were both staring at me. Their eyes wide open and I was left speechless.

'Mates...' Naula whimpered

'Wait...mates...as in....two mates?!'

'Of course...' she purred

My heart sped up and I ran. I ran through the people and to the rocks. I hid on the backside and sat down. I couldn't breath. Two mates......those words flung through my head. I didn't want two, let alone even one! This was not fair. I heard someone coming and I cowered behind the rocks.

"Louie!" Someone yelled. "Louie! Where are you?!"

"She's hiding from us." I heard another voice.

'They sound angry.' Naula said. 'Blake and Lucian are looking for me. They're calling...'

'Don't you dare give us away!' I yelled at her.

"Louie, where are you sweetheart?" Damon asked. "We just want to talk. We're as confused as you are. Please Louie...don't be scared."

Just then someone reached for me and pulled me out of my hiding spot. A big pair of arms wrapped around my waist keeping me from running. Then they pinned me to the ground. Nate's hands pushed my wrists into the sand. I whimpered and closed my eyes. I let Naula take control.

My eyes opened and I could see Nate leaning over me with a blank expression. Damon had just knelt beside us and was pushing Nate aside.

"Back off a little, Nate, we don't want to hurt her." Damon growled. 

Nate did as he said and let go. Naula pulled us up and we backed against the rock and pulled our knees to our chest. I whimpered inside and Naula only growled. 'How dare they force us...' she thought. 'Calm down Naula...lets...just hear them out...'

"Louie, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you." Nate said edging closer. "We don't understand how we're both you're mates. We both also know how you view the mating process so we're going to take it slow... Okay?"

"Let me speak to Blake and Lucian." Naula said relaxing a little.

The boy's eyes turned black and their wolf side came out. Lucian came foward but stopped in front of us. "Naula, my sweet, do not be afraid-"

"We are not afraid!" Naula growled.

"Let me finish." He growled back. "It is a legend. We've all heard it growing up. Do you remember the storybook our parents used to read us every night?"

We nodded. "Yes, the one about the princess and her mates."

"Well the tale didn't end there. There was a curse that it would happen again. I don't know if your father told you, but the vampires are planning to wage another war against us. It happened first with the high Princess. She and her two Alpha mates came together and defeated them."

"What he's trying to say is that the legend is coming to life as we speak." Blake said. "You are technically princess of the district. This is why you have two mates. With the war upon us, I think the fates decided it was time to help."

"What if I don't want to do this?" I asked taking back control and standing up. I was still against the rock, but now the boys were a few more feet away. Their wolves were still in control.

"You don't have a choice...and neither do we." Lucian said.

"And what if I don't mate? You know I've never wanted a mate. What makes you think I've changed my mind?"
