Chapter 20

June's POV
It's been about 3 weeks and Jack and I were pretty distant, and kinda awkward. He told us he was going to bring Emily over to the house so we could meet her. He really valued our opinion.
I didn't know how to feel, I mean him and I went months without talking, but all of a sudden here I am stuck on a boy who has moved on. Maybe it was easy to forget me, but maybe that's why It hurt.

I woke up trying to pretend I forgot she was coming over. I woke up to the loneliness of my bed. I rolled over to check my phone and it was as dry as the Sahara dessert. I got a snapchat from Carter saying she made breakfast but I wasn't hungry. I had water and TV dinners in the mini refrigerator and a microwave and some apples, I wasn't going to starve. I turned on the tv and flickered through the channels, landing on HBO and started watching some movies. I watched about 2 and realized it was 12:16 pm and she was already probably at the house. I didn't let my thoughts make me sad so I just watched the movies and stayed on Twitter.

Jacks POV
I hated not seeing June, regardless if we didn't speak seeing her made me happy. Emily was coming over and I wanted everyone to meet her because I don't know if I'm fully ready to move on but it everyone likes her then I guess I can.

She came over around 11. She met everyone except June and they all seemed to think she was nice. We decided to go into the pool. I would constantly look at the pool house in hopes I would see June, but never happened.

Lena cooked dinner and it was spaghetti. I checked our group chat to see if June knew but no one texted her, so I did.

"Lena cooked spaghetti"

Within a couple minutes June came running through the door screaming
"Spppaaagghhhhheeetttiiii"
We all laughed. She made a plate and walked over to the table, and hovered over Emily.

"This is my seat" June said

"It's just a seat, your name isn't on it" Emily said trying to be funny

"Yeah it is" June said pointing to JuneBug on the back of her seat.. all our names were engraved in them, the girls got them done for us.

I felt anger taking over my body as Emily stood up and June sat down

"It's just a seat June, it doesn't even matter, my guest can sit where ever she wants in MY house" I yelled at her.

I immediately regretted it when I seen tears forming in her eyes, she hated being yelled at. She always asked me to never yell at her, but she was wrong and needed to know it.

She set her food down on the table and walked out the door.

"Thank you" Emily said as she kissed my cheek.

Everyone sat and ate in silence. After dinner Emily left. I wanted to apologize to June but I decided not too.

Carters POV
It's been 3 days since Jack and June's fight. June tried leaving but the boys wouldn't let her. Her birthday was in a couple days and we wanted to make it special for her, so we were gonna throw her a surprise party. We invited team 10, Logan and everybody, people from her job.

I started planning everything. I wanted her to love it.
