They Go-Why Don't We Boys

Chapter 17

Carter POV
I woke up, rolling over checking the time and realizing it was 5:36 am. I was feeling so down on myself. I felt so vulnerable and broken. It's been almost 2 weeks since I've talked to Daniel, and I don't have any intentions too. I rolled over and seen the girls laying next to me. I felt so happy, like old times, all our sleep overs. I asked them to sleep with me for the past few nights because I've been very upset and hate being alone.

The boys were going on another tour in 3 weeks and would be gone until May. I felt so out of luck. I decided I was going to officially be done with Daniel.

I nudged June waking her up,
"Wanna go to Waffle House?" I whispered
"What time is it?" She asked trying to wake up
"5:30" I said standing up
"Okay, I need to shower" she said jumping up.

She went and took a shower, and I changed my clothes into some grey leggings, oversized black hoodie, and my black combat boots.

Waffle House
"What's up with you and Daniel?" June questioned
"I don't know, I think I'm ready to move on" I stated messing around with my straw in my orange juice
"Here's your food" said the waitress
"Thank you" June and I said in unison
We ate our waffles and hash browns and proceeded to talk.
"While the boys are gone we should go back to Florida for a week or two and see our families." I asked June hoping she wouldn't say no
"Id love to, I'll request the days off tomorrow" June said and it made me really excited, I was ready to go home and get away from here for a while. I checked the time and it was almost 7 am. We decided to call Christina, Lena and Rachel and tell them to get ready we were coming to pick them up, and just go to the town center and hang out.

The girls got to the town center and started walking around. They went to Starbucks and got some coffee and hot chocolate because it was still so cold outside.

"So how would you feel that in two weeks we go back to Florida for a while?" Carter asked the girls waiting on their response
"That's a great idea. I miss home" Lena said excitedly
"I couldn't agree more, I'm ready to see my mom" Rachel said laughing
"I wish I could go and didn't have to leave tonight" Christina pouted
"Come!!!" Carter screamed to Christina
"I can't I have school, but only 3 more months and I'll graduate" Christina said as a smile creeped on her face
"And we will be there, we wouldn't miss it for the world" June said locking arms with Christina and continuing to walk
They shopped for about 3 hours and stopped for lunch
"Jack hasn't texted me all day" June said worried
"Neither has Jonah" Rachel said upset
"Zach texted me" Lena said confused
"Corbyns texted me" Christina said looking up from her phone
"I could care less if Daniel texted me" carter said laughing
"Zach said Daniel, Jack and Jonah aren't with them. He said they left about an hour ago" Lena said confused
"Where did they go?" June asked angry
"No idea?" Lena questioned worried at this point

Christina POV
Corbyn knew something was up but didn't want to tell me.
"Is it bad?" I texted him
"Yeah, but it's not my business" Corbyn replied
"Please don't tell me..." I sent another message
"I think so.." he answered
"But we are gonna come and meet y'all" he replied again

"Corbyn and Zach are coming" I said to the girls
"Okay" they all said in unison

"So y'all have devious looks on your faces", what the plan" I asked concerned but anxious
"Where we are from we come from the most redneck, and ghetto city in all of Florida.. they aren't ready" Rachel said licking her lips
"Should I be worried?" I asked
"Not yet" carter said filled with angry
"I found it" June screamed
"Found what?" I asked worried again
"Their location" she said smiling
They were in the town center.. we walked all the way to the other end, Corbyn and Zach met up with us halfway through. We seen the boys sitting there talking.. we just watched for a few minutes until 3 girls came up. One kissing Jack and one kissing Jonah, and one hugged Daniel, but Daniel just started at his phone.

"Wait, Carter, text Daniel" I said
"Why?" She asked
"Just do it!" I demanded
She texted him and he got so excited immediately replying not paying any attention to them
"June now you text him"
She did and Jack pulled his phone out, and just slid it back into his pocket, same with Jonah.

"A cheating man would have something to hide!" I said looking at them
"That's fine" June said snapping pictures of them.
"We leave tomorrow" June said angry

The house 8:00 pm
The girls were in the little house packing their things, they had a flight at 3 am.

"Still no text from Jack" June said feeling like she wanted to cry
"Jonah texted me saying, "sorry I was practicing"" Rachel said, looking down, knowing he was lying.
"These guys don't deserve y'all" Corbyn said
"Yeah he's right" Christina said hugging Rachel

Around 12 the boys came stumbling inside, but no one was home. They all left for the airport since Christina's flight was at 1.

Daniels POV
We walked inside and no one was home. We thought they were sleeping and entire house was empty. Then I remembered Christina was going home, so I assumed everyone was at the airport.

Jack, Jonah and I sat on the couch and waited for everyone to come home. It was nearly 4 when the boys came home.

"Where are the girls?" I asked
"They left" Zach said starring me in the eyes
"What do you mean they left?" Jack said standing up
"I mean, they are on a plane going back to Florida because you guys have to go out with other girls and lie to them. They picked up their lives and moved here for you guys, just to treat them like shit" Corbyn yelled
" we didn't do anything" jack yelled back
"Oh you didn't, then explain this" Zach said showing them the pictures of them kissing other girls today.

It was nearly 6 am and I got a text from June
"Daniel, Carter wanted me to tell you that we landed and we are okay. She doesn't want to talk to you, move on."
I immediately tried calling Carter but she declined it.
Jack walked into the living room, with tears in his eyes.
"What's wrong?" I asked, he lifted his hand revealing a ring, the ring he gave June
"She's not coming back is she?" He asked with remorse in his voice
"I don't think so" I said as my heart raced in my chest

June's POV
2 weeks later
We've been home for 2 weeks and it's been so lame. Nothing exciting happens here. The girls are going to enroll themselves back into the high school so they can go to prom and stuff and graduate with their friends and stuff. The dealership transferred me here to work, and Carters dad is letting me live in his pool house, But Carter pretty much stays in there with me. Zach and Lena are face timing every night, they leave for tour in a couple days. Jack has been texting me everyday, but I just ignore him. But I decided to text him
"Good luck on tour. Have fun, be safe." He read it immediately and replied
"Thank you, I love you" I just read it and put my phone away.

"Oh my god, I forgot my turtles" I screamed, I immediately texted Corbyn and he said when they come to Atlanta on tour we can meet up and he will give them to me. I felt so much better.

I don't know how I'll react when I see the boys in a couple months..
