Chapter 21

Jonahs POV
I was coming down the stairs to get some water when June came home. I heard Jack say
"Can we talk?"
So I sat on the last stair and listened

"Okay shoot" she immediately responded

"Well I like Emily, a lot. Well her family is moving back to Virginia and she has no where to go. I told her she could live here... could you please be nice to her?" Jack asked
, which caught me by surprise because he never mentioned it to us

"Sure" June said sourly, grabbing her shoes and walking towards the back doors

"June don't be like that!" He screamed for her but not too loud because he thought everyone was asleep

"Don't be like what Jack? Don't pretend that watching you with her doesn't hurt? Or the fact that she is gonna live here and you want me to pretend to be her friend while you are all over her?" She said as a tear came down her face

"Oh it really hurts, when you are making out and being out all night with other guys.. yeah you must be soo hurt" jack mocked her as he walked into the kitchen

He grabbed a bottle of water and looked right at her

"What am I supposed to wait around forever for you? You give me a picture that was so sweet and personal, dress up in my favorite outfit you wear, hold my hand, compliment me in the car and then MAKE OUT WITH THE GIRL AT MY OWN PARTY?" She started screaming at him then took a deep breath

"Jack, I've known you for almost a year now and all you've ever done is break my heart. I've forgiven you, I moved my life here for you, twice. Twice Jack.. FOR YOU" she said as she began crying

"I fell in love with you and all you ever did for me was kill me from the inside out. I trusted you, the first guy I ever felt beautiful around, like I could be myself. When we met I saw my future with YOU. I wanted you and only you, but you took that away from me so fast. So yes Jack it hurts. But I'm glad you're happy. You deserve to be happy, I WOULD NEVER TAKE THAT AWAY FROM YOU like you did to me" she screamed as tears came streaming down her eyes

Jack stood their in silence, she waited a minute and he didn't respond so she slid the glass doors open and walked to the little house.

Jack went and sat on the couch and started thinking, it was deep so I decided to get up and try and talk to him

"What's up bro?" I asked him

"You heard all that?" He asked looking at me

I just nodded

"I like Emily, a lot. But then again I'm in love with June." He said like it was a hard choice

"I want to be with Emily; June will get over it" he said and walked up to his room

I sat on the couch confused, he's such an idiot I thought. I pulled out my phone and texted June.

"I'm always here for you June"

"Love you too. Forget about him, go live your life and be happy, you deserve to."

"Thank you, I will."

I decided to go back upstairs to sleep.

Everyone woke up to a bunch of noise coming from downstairs, it was Jack and Emily moving in her stuff

"Um excuse me, where is all this going to go?" Christina asked rudely
