Chapter 1; The Drive
*Makenzie's POV*
I think I'm lost. So I called her, just to be sure.
"Hey, Alyssa, you gave me the right address right?" I said with a worried tone.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure! I can't wait for you to get here, I want to go shopping so bad!" Alyssa said, then giggled.
"I know, me too! I can't believe our parents are both out of town and in a different country for the next week! They expected us to be home all week, seriously?" I laughed, a bit more relaxed after being told I had the correct address.
"Okay, well I'm going to get ready then, you called me when I was in the middle of putting on my makeup... Bye!" Alyssa said back.
"Okay. Bye! See you soon!" I said back.
*click*
I have never driven to Alyssa's house before... I just got my license and it was one of the first times I was actually driving to her house...

*Alyssa's POV*
I ran down the hallway as fast as I could, running to the dryer to pull out my favorite sweat top from Forever 21. I heard the crunch of the gravel in my driveway and ran to the dining room.
"Sammy, get out of the way pup!" I laughed. My dog was always in the way.
"I opened the front door and yelled to Makenzie, "I'll be right out! I have to grab my purse!" I ran up the stairs and grabbed my small Vera Bradley clutch and my iPhone. I texted my mum.
*hiya mum. i know youre in the carribean, but i wanted to let you know that me and makenzie were going out to shop at outlets. its a girl day! we are meeting up with friends later... take pictures of the dolphins for me!*
*sent*
I ran down the stairs and out the front door of the house, locking the front door and putting on the alarm. Finally! I was going shopping!
... ... ...
"So where exactly are we going Makenzie?" I questioned. Makenzie looked at me weird...
Had I forgotten something? I look back at her willing the answer out of her, she rolled her eyes playfully and looked at the road. It started to rain. I gently poked her cheek like Zayn had done to Harry on SNL. She burst out laughing, practically swerving into the fast lane on the road.
"Oh my god, don't distract me Alyssa! Now all I am going to think about is carrots and potatoes!" Makenzie laughed back at me.
"I asked a question! Now tell me the answer you potatoe!" I just called my best friend a potato... that sounded funnier in my head.
"We're going to Jack Wills... Duh." Makenzie said, looking at me like I was crazy.
"Why didn't I think of that!!" I said loudly, laughing so hard that I was on the verge of crying. It was starting to rain a lot harder, but I had faith in Makenzie. Her car was brand new and she was a good driver. It wasn't some fixer upper either, it was her 17th birthday present from her mom, dad, grandma, and grandpa... it was a Chevy Camaro.
"Well, it's quite a drive to the Jack Wills. Around an hour and a half Alyssa..." Makenzie made a huffing noise as she shifted into higher gear. She was a bit of a zippy driver when it came to highways, she hated being next to so many cars.
"Well, with that note, lets put on some.... ONE DIRECTION MUSICC!!!!!" I screamed as I plugged my iTouch into the Aux input and turned up the music. Makenzie looked at me and gave me a high five as she shifted gears and we sped down the highway.

*Makenzie's POV*
"CARROTS!!!!" I screamed.
"POTATOOO!" Alyssa screamed back. Oh my gosh, sometimes I worry about us. I had only known about the boys for less than 6 months and I acted like they were my cousins. I knew everything about them.
"Dude, Oh my god, Karissa messaged me back on instaDM!!!" I yelled at Alyssa. I turned down the music a bit. It was hard to concentrate on the road with Alyssa flailing her arms all over the place and turning the music up so loud. It was hard to hear anything, I had to double check my blinker was on when I changed lanes on the highway.
"No. No flacking way. NO SHE DIDN'T!!!" Alyssa said, as her eyes practically popped out of her head. She grabbed my phone from my lap and unlocked it, and opened up instaDM.
"OH MY GOSH. SHE DID!!!!!" Alyssa yelled, jumping up and down in her seat. Her body language showed how excited she was, but I know her. I looked her straight in the eyes and I could see the slight bits of jealousy.
"Yeah, she's so nice! I mean, Karissa has never even met me, or you, yet she talks to us like we're her best friends!" I said to Alyssa calmly, focusing on the road. I shifted down a gear, we were getting off the highway and making our way towards a round-about. Just to get BACK on a bridge over the highway...
"I love Karissa. Wait, that sounded weird. Oh god, well shes like really cool." Alyssa tried to fix what she said, haha. Poor gal. I gave her the weirdest look that I could muster, then she grabbed my face and forced me to look at the road.
"FOCUS ON YOUR DRIVING!!" she said as she pushed me away and continued looking through my instaDM messages.
... ... ...
"You messaged THE Louis Tomlinson and you NEVER TOLD ME!?" She yelled at the highest pitch she could muster. She almost bursted at the seams with excitement.
"OH MY GOSH MAKENZIE! THATS SO COOOL!" She screamed, as she read through my 2 week old, 20 minute conversation with Louis Tomlinson when he was on his flight to Australia.
"That. Is. SO COOL!" she continued... half of what she said didn't even register in my head. Alyssa hadn't realized it but we just pulled into the biggest outlet mall on the East Coast. And our mission, was to go to Jack Wills. Where the REAL Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik have gone shopping.
