Chapter 9; 6 hours... Girlfriend?

I think I might just change this book to Niall's and Makenzie's POV, it much easier to have to write in 2 views instead of 4... Harry and Alyssa and all the characters will still be included! Don't worry! But I think that it's going to mainly be them... Sorry! <3

*Makenzie's POV*

"Niall, how come you don't look worried at all?" I asked him, he was sitting in the passenger side. His legs were stretched out on the floorboard, one leg leaning up against the speaker.. (I had just blasted some Payphone by Maroon5) and his back was to the window so he was looking at me.

I looked over at him to see him already looking at me. He smiled before saying,

"Makenzie, if anyone should be worried; it should be you. You're looking over and talking with me instead of driving babe..." Niall said, smartass; didn't answer me honestly.

"I know, sorry, I'm an easily distracted driver.." I said, I was driving fine looking over at him, I've driven these roads millions of times to get to my business house.. Usually I would share my ginormous flat with 6 other girls, but all of them are on break for around 3 weeks for Summer vacation before coming back to train the horses with me. Yes, my flat can house 7 people, and I have the biggest room. No, I'm not lucky; I'm blessed.

"Yes, you really are.." Niall said with a laugh, he continued before I could find a comeback.

"And if you end up becoming to distracted I will have to jump over there and drive for you!" He said, obviously joking. I hope he was, there was no way in hell he was driving my camaro. Nope. Not happening.

"Well, you won't be driving my camaro; keep dreaming." I laughed before opening the sunroof and unrolling all of the windows. Ooops. Alyssa hates when th-

"MY HAIIR!" Alyssa shrieked before hurling herself into the front seat, and sliding a hairtie off the automatic shift. She tied her hair back. I had no idea what was going on back there, with her and Harry. And frankly, if I did happen to turn around; Niall would most likely lecture me about how I need to focus on the road. Is it just me or is Niall acting like Liam right now?

"Anyways Makenzie," Niall said before sitting in the seat normally, feet infront of him, and back against the seat. He placed his hand, palm up, next to the automatic shift, and instinctly I took my hand off the shift and put it in his hand, he entwined his fingers in mine; and shivers shot up my spine.

"I am not worried about your driving, or where you are taking me and Harry, because I have complete trust in you.." Niall retorted proudly.

"You met me at noon in a Jack Wills because I accidently bumped into you, which goes to show how much of a clumsy girl I am.." I say, swerving into the other lane slightly to get his heart racing. I knew how to play them, he would probably yell at me.

"Makenzie.. please, don't swerve. Even though it's acceptable because you're in a sports car..." Niall trailed off, obviously he was looking for speed. But, I was being a tease so I wasn't going to give it to him. To think that I met him around 4hours ago.. it was 4 o'clock in the afternoon. And damn it was still bright out! I COULD TAN.

I pulled onto the street, and Niall noticed my decelleration and took his hand away from mine... all too soon. I didn;t want him to let go, I would rather drive with one hand than have both on the wheel. Then I get nervous. Niall gathered up my clutch and Alyssa's clutch so that I didn't have to carry anything, but I wasn't going to stop him, he's such a gentleman.

"What are you doing Niall?" I asked him, as he started collecting all of our empty starbucks cups.

"Well, I figured we were getting close.. we pulled into a neighborhood and there's the No Trespassing signs.." Niall explained, pointing to the driveway. Now, to quickly explain what the driveway looks like, the road is paved. The end of the driveway is stones, like slabs, and there are two beige light posts at the base of the driveway along with a gate. This flat is very updated and you have to have a passcode to type in just to have the first set of gates open, yes there are two sets of gates, there are olympic horses on the property worth a lot of money! So, I pulled up to the speach box, and the security guard asked who I was.
