I've let myself into the counselling room and I'm using a punching bag for my workout today. Working out helps relieve tension and stress and I try to fit one in whenever I can.

I've got my music blasting in my ears and I'm sweating from my cardio activity. I feel something on my shoulder and I jump sky high moving away from the person screaming in fear. I rip out my headphones and hear Ryan's voice, "it's only me, hey, hey, it's only me."
I turn around and look at his wary face. I don't even know why I was scared. Actually, yes I do. I thought it was Victor. Everyone's scared of Victor.
"Hey, Ellen, look at me," he takes hold of my wrist loosely and puts his other hand of my cheek to make me look up at him, "it's just me."
"I'm sorry, I, uh, I..."
He seems to get that I can't - or don't want to - explain why I reacted like I did so he points to the punching bag instead, "What's up?"
"Just," I shrug, "just stress relief."
"Ah," replies Ryan, "do you wanna sit down and talk?"
"Um, I actually have a biology assignment that I have to finish." I make up an excuse to leave. "But, I'll talk to you later?"
"Yeah," he nods and I notice that he very slightly bites his lip as he blinks.
I walk to the door but just before I walk out I turn back to him, "I'm sorry, about last night."
He looks at me for a prolonged moment, "No. No, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to lead you on, if that's what I was doing."
I take a breath and then leave, going back to my room.
I actually do take some of my Sunday to complete schoolwork, shower and clean my dorm room a little before I begin to do my makeup - today adding a little winged liner - and getting dressed.
I put on a black bra, a black leather shirt that I leave undone for the most part, a pair of black velvet trousers, secured with a belt and an extremely tall pair of black heels.
