Birthday

Evie's POV
I've been living with Dan and Phil for 2 weeks now. It's been amazing. It's only 3 weeks until the school summer holiday starts so dan and Phil said I can start after the holidays, which is fine by me!

It's my birthday in three days and I don't think dan and Phil have realised but I don't care. I've never really celebrated my birthday before, mum and dad never did anything special to celebrate (I would get pancakes and that would be it) and the orphanage did nothing. So I don't mind and to be honest I don't want them to know, I don't like a lot of attention.

Dan's POV:
It's Evie's birthday in three days. Phil and I have bought all her presents, wrapped them and are currently planning a small get together for her. We are inviting Zoe, Alfie, Louise, Dodie and her best friend Kate. There's not too many people because we know she doesn't like a lot of attention. So far everyone can come!

Time skip to Evie's birthday.. brought to u by Dans curly hair (idk I'm in a weird mood)

Evie's POV:
I wake up to dan and phil literally screaming "happy birthday Evie" at 8:30 in the morning, in my opinion too early "go back to sleep! It's too early!!" I shout at them "but it your birthday!" Dan replays laughing at my reply, I sigh and put a pillow over my head. A few minuets later I feel very cold water being thrown over me! "Aaarrrgggghhhhhh" i turn around and stare at dan as him and phil die of laughter. "It's your birthday! Put dome dry pjs on and come down to the living room!" Phil says still laughing as he drags dan out of my room. 'They actually remembered my birthday!' I thought to myself. I get changed into elephant short pyjama set and head downstairs. When I get down there I see a huge pile of presents, I stare at them and then at dan and phil and back to the presents "are they all mine?" I ask bewildered "well who else would they be for?" Dan says sarcastically. I sit on the floor next to them and don't do anything "are y going to open them or just sit there?" Phil say, I laugh and start opening. The first is a totoro onesie.... yaaassss!

Skip to when all the presents have been opened... brought to u by Evie's onsie (idk ok?)

I got a lot of new clothes, books, tea and makeup. I was so great full. I went and gave dan then Phil a huge squeeze (not a hug a squeeze) "thank u thank u thank u" I repeat over and over again "it's ok sweetie" dan says "would u like breakfast?" He asks... he already knows the answer "no thanks" "please" he begs "nah I'm good" I promise I'll eat lunch though" I say and he looks pleased. I go upstairs and get ready for the day. I put on my new maroon dungaree dress, off white shirts and my new converse. I put part on my hair in bear ears and curl the rest. (As shown at the top) Then I do my makeup like this:

When that's done I go back downstairs and sit with dan on the sofa. " Zoe is coming over in 10 so she can give u her present" dan informs me. "Ok cool!" I love Zoe she the motherly figure in my life so it will be cool to see her for a bit. Ten minutes later the door bell goes, I race to the door and see Zoe there. I welcome her in and we go to the living room. "Evie, my present to you is to have your hair died" Zoe says "omg omg omg! Thank u so much!!!" I say, I'm so happy. I've wanted my hair dying for a while now... yes!!! "The appointment is soon so we should probably get going!" She says. So I grab my phone and we leave. On the way there I'm looking at hair on tumblr and Pinterest whilst singing to Disney songs, this it the best. Day. EVER! I decide to have my hair like this:

Dans POV:
Zoe's taken Evie to have her hair died so that phil and I can do the decorations and give everyone time to arrive. When that's done and everyone is here I get a text from Evie which is a picture of her hair followed by one from Zoe saying that they'll be back in 10. It takes 5 minutes for everyone to find a place to hide.

Evie's POV:
When we get back all the lights are off and it's completely silent..... strange. I go into the living room and turn on the light the...."SURPRISE!" There was Dodie, Louise, Alfie... and kate! "KATE!!!!" I shout and we charge towards each other and I give the biggest hug I thing I've ever given. I then go see everyone else. I'm so, genuinely happy! This day was the best! ❤️

A/n: I hope u liked the chapter! I'm sorry I've been gone so long but I've had slot happen recently and I've felt horrible so I haven't wanted to write. The main reason is that my dog died a few weeks ago so that's been really hard because he was like a brother to me so I've been in a bad frame of mind for a few weeks and didn't want to write... but I'm back!
