Day 2
After the dreadfully slow elevator ride, we both stepped out into the surprisingly busy lobby. I was tempted to yell out to the random strangers to help me, but I was reminded of the fact that my kidnapper possessed a gun.
Growing up in New York City, people would always tell you to watch your back and don't talk to strangers, but I was raised in wealth and had no worries of anything bad happening to me. I was always surrounded by someone that I can trust and by people would protect me. Now, there wasn't anyone that I knew, I felt extremely vulnerable like someone ripped me open and was staring at my body.
I've never seen the real world and I was scared to death. I felt out of place and I felt like everyone here knew that I was out of place.
When we stepped out into the summer sun, my frown faded from the sight of the beautiful day but my lingering thoughts still remained.
In the distance, I could see tall metal structures and one single tall tower. My eyebrows scrunched up in confusion.
Where in the hell are we?
I was tempted to ask Nico, the newly-named kidnapper, but then realized he would snap at me for asking a question again.
We walk down to where the car is parked and as soon as I sit down in the front seat, memories from the last time I was here started to fill my head and I grip my seatbelt in a panic.
Noticing this, Nico rolls his eyes,"Relax I won't do anything to hurt you again. Trust me it hurt me more then it hurts you."
My heart flutters a bit at his reassurance and a small smile spread across my face.
But what does he mean it hurts him?
I then watch as his eyes flicker down to my wrists which were slightly injured from the rope he tied me up with.
"I just need to have one fun day and forget about all of the shit in my life, can you not be such a nosy bitch for this one day?"He pleads and my heart drops at his words.
"Nosy bitch? You expect me to just allow you to kidnap me"I ask him angrily, but on the inside, I was hurt by his comment a lot.
Nobody ever dared to hurt me or comment about me directly to my face, they were either too scared about what would happen to them because of my parents and background, or they were terrified by Carter's knuckles.
He ignores my comment and continues to drive as I stare at his beautiful face, trying to figure out all of the mysteries of the man.
He didn't look dangerous, but looks can be deceiving. The only dangerous thing about his body was his eyes, a person could easily get lost in them like getting lost in an evergreen forest.
I watched as his nostrils slightly flare and he shuts his eyes or a second, his mouth frowns."Stop staring at me."He orders and his voice was so deep I could feel it's vibrations. I would love to listen to his voice forever.
My cheeks flame up at being caught and I squeak out an apology before turning the other way.
He turns into a somewhat familiar street and outside the window, a big green lawn with numerous steel factories appear behind the lawn appear. One factory said Kit Kat and another was labeled Reese's. Across the big green lawn, written in chocolate letters were the words Hershey Cocoa.
"We're in Hershey Park?" I was confused.
Nico hums in response and I had to bite my lip in order to stop asking any questions. What was even planning on doing with me?
