Kk, sorry for making you all wait so long. I feel bad, but I've been busy. I'm in my school's marching band (shocker right?) and Color Guard is a lot harder in marching band than in indoor.
Anyways, enjoy! :)
It wasn't fair.
Band camp was extended.
Monday through Friday, 9 am till 9 pm.
Ugh, really?!
Band camp was basically the underworld, but on earth. Super hot days and hard labor, all for entertainment.
Yep, and we get little to no recognition for it.
Because hardly anyone watches the marching band at Half-Time.
The first day was cloudy, but humid. We were going over the opening flag work.
"1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and...." we counted over and over and over again. Our guard instructor wasn't going to let us get away with not being in time. It was mostly a person here and there, which was annoying.
*time skip bc*
"Hey Marinette!" Mason panted as he tried to catch me before I left.
"Yes?"
"I-I was wondering i-if you wanted to go to dinner on Saturday?" He asked obviously nervous.
Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Alya and Tikki nodding their heads and giving me gestures to say "yes."
"Umm.... sure why not," I said.
He smiled, "Okay, I'll pick you up at around 4:30, would you prefer formal or informal?"
"Informal," I didn't want to think of this as a date.
"Alright! See you then!"
With that he left me with Alya and Tikki, who where fangirling over my "date."
"Oh my gosh! We need to get you a new casual dress, and redo your nails to a French (ha) and curl your hair and..."
"Guys, its informal, and I didn't want to make him feel bad. He's just a friend."
"Uh huh...... suuure Mari." Alya smartly remarked
"It's totally a date!" Tikki exclaimed.
"Does someone have a date?" I heard a male voice behind me.
"NO!"
"YES!"
"I'm confused here," Nino said.
"Marinette got asked out by Mason just now! He's gonna take her to dinner on Saturday!" Tikki explained with much enthusiasm.
"Well, good luck Mari, he sure is lucky."
"T-thanks," ugh, why was I stuttering?

Adrien's POV
"..... Oh, and Marinette got asked out by Mason."
"What?!" My head popped up suddenly interested by what Nino was telling me.
"Jealous?" He smirked.
"Psh, no way. Why would I be jealous?" I retorted.
"Because you have a crush?" Plagg said in my ear from the backseat of the car.
"No way. Not on Marinette!"
"If you say so dude." Nino said still smirking.
'Why do I have an unsettling feeling in my stomach? Maybe it's because our group is made up of three boys and three girls. Maybe it's because Alya, Nino, Plagg, and Tikki all have crushes within the group. Marinette will have someone, which will leave me alone. Maybe that's why. It's because I'm afraid of being the 7th wheel. (if you got the reference, great! I didn't try it)
"I heard he's a player." Plagg said suddenly.
"Who? Mason?" Nino asked confused.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure he's dated quite a few girls here." Plagg replied.
"Really? He doesn't come across that way," I said.
"Ah, but see, that's what makes a good player. Blind your victim, so they won't see what's coming." Plagg should know, he was friends with a person before he turned to that side.
"Is Marinette going to be okay?" I asked worried.
"Hopefully she's smart enough to see right through him, and something tells me that she's not stupid, and won't let him have his way very easily." Plagg said reassuringly.
"I sure hope she sees through him." I murmured.
Welp, I finally updated 😅
Sorry, I'll try and update more before I start school again.
