Marinette's POV

Today was one of those days where you definitely should have planned something in advance. Alya was out with Nino, and Tikki was getting more electrical tape for our flags and was going with Plagg to lunch afterwards.

That left me alone in my dorm overthinking everything imaginable.

"Maybe Mason could be a good boyfriend, he's been really sweet and kind. Maybe he isn't so bad after all, maybe..."

"Maybe I should FaceTime him!"

I grab my phone and text him asking if he's busy. Meanwhile I try to focus on anything but him texting back, but nothing works at all.

"Maybe if I stretch the pain will help distract me?"

Jeez what is wrong with me?

Then I heard the beautiful sound of my phone buzzing. Who knew that could be the best sound in the world?

"Hey how are you, Marinette?"

"I'm at my dorm alone and bored. My friends all left me :( "

"Aww, that sucks. I'd come hang out with you except I'm also out today."

"Oh, okay. I'll talk to you tonight?"

"Actually I have plans tonight too, but I can talk tomorrow afternoon before practice?"

"Okay that sounds good! Talk to you then!"

"Okay see you Mari."

"UGH! I should have made plans today!"

I slid back under the covers of my bed hoping to maybe sleep all the extra time off, but I only managed to think about the reading I could be doing for class.

So I decided to do some work before my friends got back.

"Mari!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Alya burst through the door, which startled me beyond belief, and rushed over to me.

"Mari! He kissed me!!!!!! Nino kissed me!!!" She started jumping up and down and grinning like crazy.

"Woah, Woah, start from the beginning."

"Okay so we arrived at the dorms and once when he parked, he held my hand and said he had a really good time with me. I agreed and said I wanted to go on another date with him soon. Then he leaned close to me and we kissed!!!!! It was so magical Mari, and afterwards the look in his eyes was so warm and gentle. *sigh* Mari, it was amazing."

"Oh I'm glad it went so well!!" I was really happy for Alya, really I was, just I felt hurt by what she was saying, almost like I was jealous of her getting a guy's full attention while I'm struggling to get Mason's. I should have planned something if I wanted to hang out with him though.

Sorry I was really inactive guys, I had a lot of stuff going on and I definitely wasn't in a good place, but I'm much better now, I'll make more of an effort to publish more chapters! Thanks for understanding :)
