Ayden

School was cancelled Monday morning due to some hazardous pipe leak in the commons area. The guys and I decided today was a great day to catch up because it dead ass feels like it's been forever since we've all been together all at once, outside of school.

It has been, though.

I've been spending a lot of time with Gabby, Bennet and I have been fighting, Colton's been spending a lot of time with Emma, and Dakota's just been around I guess.

The guys were all over by 11, except Bennet; he'd texted me to tell me he wanted to go over the Roberts' and talk to Gabby and Dom first.

Everyone else in my house was at work or school, leaving us home alone.

Nothing new, but Eric would be pissed if he knew because he seems to think my friends and I are walking wrecking balls.

My friends played MLB 2K17 and I sat on the floor, texting Bennet.

Bennet: I'm going to tell them.
Ayden: really?
Bennet: now is as good time as any
Ayden: you right. I'm here for you man
Bennet: thanks bro

Today, Bennet would come out to our best friends.

Not a single part of me doubted for even a second that any of them would change their minds on Bennet. We've all been friends way too long for something like Bennet's sexuality to damage our friendship.

He has nothing to worry about, I'm sure of it.

I tossed my phone on the table next to me and picked up a controller to join the guys in their new game.

"Hey, Bennet," Dakota said once he heard someone at the bottom of the stairs. Considering his face was glued to the screen since Colton pitches whether Dakota is ready or not at bat to hit the ball, he didn't even know if it was actually Bennet.

Someone could've broken into my house and Dakota would've just greeted him.

Real talk, though, there could be a robber in my house at this very moment and, chances are, I wouldn't even know it because I'm down here.

Oh, well. Most the shit in this place was bought with Eric's money anyway.

"Hey," Bennet replied back with his mouth overflowing with Ruffles. He hopped over the back of the couch and found himself sitting between Dakota and I.

While I went up to bat, Dakota took this time to shove his hand in Bennet's bag of chips and grab a handful for his mouth.

"Pass me a controller." Bennet said to Colton who was sitting next to the only controller not in use when our game ended. "Let's play some basketball."

Colton shot up from his seat and switched the disks in the console.

Thank God because I was getting tired of the baseball game.

"Lunch?" I suggested a couple hours worth of playing video games later.

"Hell yeah," Dakota groaned. Just like that, they all fled up the stairs.

I grabbed four cans of cokes from the mini fridge, then joined the guys upstairs.
