Where Did You Go? - {Tsukiyama} - Angst

Yamaguchi's POV

I still remember the day I confessed to him. It was after practice, he stayed a bit later to help me with my serves and receives. He walked me home like usual. It was not planned at all, although I have wanted to confess for a really long time now, I just don't have the courage. It began to rain. Not even a little drizzle, it all just poured down hard. We ran for cover under a bus stop, both unprepared.

"Looks like we'll have to wait here for a while 'till it dies down," Tsukki says plainly and sits down. I reply with a nod and sit down at the other end of the bench. I feel the cold get to me, especially since my clothes got all wet. It must've been obvious I was cold cause Tsukki called out to me,

"You seem cold. Come sit here."

"N-no, it's alright. I'm fine," I squeaked out. If I sat close to him, he might feel my heart racing. I suddenly feel him sit down beside me.

"I'm feeling cold too," he mumbles. My face heats up and I look away.

"You okay?" he asks.

"Y-yeah," I reply and turn towards him, giving a smile. He leans forward, our foreheads touching. My face heats up furiously.

"Wh-what are you doing?!"

"Checking if you're feeling alright."

"I-I'm fine!" I say and pull back.

"Really? You've been acting weird all week. You can always talk to me about it."

"I-it's nothing important..."

"But it is something."

"Well, yeah-"

"So it's something unimportant... Then why not tell me?"

"It's not important...."

"It is to me now. C'mon don't be shy~"

"I......k....o......"

"What?"

"I LIKE YOU, YOU STUPID BLONDE TELEPHONE POST!" I yell while standing up.

"Wh-what?" Just realising what I did I ran. I didn't care if it was raining or if I slipped (oh pleaseeeeee let me slip and never wake up again). I suddenly get jerked back and feel arms around me.

"You'll slip idiot..."

"Ts-tsuki?! What are yo-" I was suddenly cut off by his lips.... on mine. I froze for a moment, taken aback, but melted into the kiss.

I can still remember the feeling of the cold rain on my skin opposing the warm feeling of my lips.

"Excuse me sir, may I take your order?" I snap out of my trance and look at the waiter.

"Oh, of course. I'll have meal B with iced coffee." He bows slightly and walks away. I go back to staring out at the rain.

I step out the restaurant and open my purple umbrella. Looks like the rain wont be stopping anytime soon. It was getting dark and there wasn't much people on the streets. I decide to take the long route home. The rain always calms me down and makes me think.

I pass by a small park on the way. The playground was fairly small. It had two slides, three seesaws, monkey bars, and a sandbox.

It was after practice, we decided to walk for a while and ended up staying at a park bench. In front of us was a little play ground.
