Sugawara Kōshi loves weddings. He loves the ceremony; watching the bride walk down the aisle, watching the groom tear up, and watching them exchange vows. He loves the reception; the food, the music, the decorations, the dancing. He loves watching the couples be in love as he hasn't exactly been lucky with it himself.
Today is an exciting day for him as one of his closest friend is getting married. For the past week Suga has been racking his brain thinking of what he would wear, finally deciding yesterday that he would wear a sky blue tux with a faintly pink button up shirt. He fixes his hair then checks the clock, it reading 11:27am. The wedding starts at 2pm so he starts to speed up a bit, not wanting to be late. He finishes fixing up his hair, grabs his gift, and hails a taxi to the venue.
He arrives at the venue at 12:40pm, not too late and not too early. He didn't have a huge role in the wedding preparation as his friend wanted to do most of it, so he decides to walk around a bit. The venue was a beautiful garden, flowers of all kinds of colors surrounding the area, enclosing it and making it look like a secret garden. He wanders over to a pond, admiring the koi fish that came in all different colors and sizes.
His eyes explore his surroundings, taking in the wonderful venue, but something catches his eye. He looks over to the bridge on the other side of the pond and sees two men talking. One was the groom who he's met a couple of times, but the other was an unfamiliar face. He unknowingly stares at the stranger, observing him and his features. He's wearing a dark blue suit with black outlines, and a white button up inside. He notices he has soft black hair, styled in a way that looks effortless. He has a fit build, tall, classy, slightly tanned. The stranger suddenly turns towards Suga's direction, their eyes meeting. The first thought that came into Suga's head was handsome, which immediately made him look away and blush.
"Daichi are you okay?" the groom asks, turning his head towards the direction of his friend, but seeing nothing there.
"Oh, yeah, something just caught my eye," Daichi replies, looking back at his soon to be married friend. He puts his hand in his friend's shoulder, "congratulations again Iwaizumi." Iwaizumi thanks him with a smile, having to go now as the ceremony will start soon. Daichi was left alone on the bridge wondering who was the silver haired man he saw.
Suga, who is a blushing mess, is hiding behind behind a bush. His phone suddenly buzzes, a message from his friend asking him to come to his room. Suga gets up, shaking off his blush, and goes to find his friends room.
"SUGA-CHAAAAN!" he hears as soon as he pops his head through the door. He smiles and walks towards the chocolate haired man.
"Congratulations Oikawa, I can't believe you are actually getting married before me," he joke as Oikawa gets up to give him a hug.
"Hey Suga-san, it's been a while," a soft elegant voice says coming from behind Oikawa.
"Akaashi! I'm so glad to see you too!" Suga says as his approaches the refined man to him to give a hug.
"Suga-chaaaan~ I need help with my hair, it's not cooperating with me today," Oikawa whines, tugging on Suga's sleeve.
"It looks perfectly fine to me," Suga chuckles at his pouting friend.
"That's what I told him, but he insists its not perfect." Akaashi massages his temples, shaking his head.
"I'll see what I can do," Suga replies, turning Oikawa's chair to face him. He looks at it for a moment, thinking of what he can do with it, then an idea popping in his head and he gets to work. About ten minutes later, Suga finally finishes styling Oikawa's hair, turning his chair to face the mirror.
"Waaaaah! Suga-chaaan this is perfect!!" he exclaims, carefully touching his hair, styled to look natural, effortless, but neat. Oikawa gets up from his chair and walks to the full body mirror. "What do you guys think?" he asks the two other men in the room.
