You choose to help Jordan crash the party. "Where is this party at," you ask as you two exit the building.

"The beach right over there" you follow Jordans pale finger and see a bright, sunny beach.

"You want to go there," you grunt.

"Like I said, this party will have the good stuff and I can't do it alone," she leads you to her car.

"I have my own car."

"Just get in, we'll be back later, you can get it then," you open the passenger seat door and sit.

You reach for the seatbelt, but can't find it, "where's the seatbelt?"

Jordan laughs, her short, colored hair moving with her head, "are all people from the country as uptight as you," you glare at her. "Take a joke," she says offensively, "I took the seatbelts out."

"Why?"

"Seatbelts are meant to restrain you, I don't like to be held down. Therefore, removing them means freedom, and I strive for freedom, it's the only reason I'm still living. I'm hoping that one day, I'll be free and I'll be able to do whatever I want without my parents scolding me every step of the way."

"Sounds deep," you say.

"Yeah," she parks her car, "well, this is where I live." You step out of the car and approach a slightly bigger house, "Mom's a lawyer, Dad's a doctor, both are gone quite a bit." You follow her into her house and down a hallway, "now, in order to not get caught, we're going to need to dress the part," she starts throwing clothes at you until she pulls out a big box, "this should do it."

"What is it?"

Jordan laughs, "I went through a phase my junior year, I hung out with the coolest kids, dressed the part, attended all the parties, then they stabbed me in the back. Just like every other kid in that prison that we call school." Jordan pops the lid off of the box and reveals a bunch of clothes, the exact opposite of her style, "these should do the job," she hands you a skirt that goes past your stomach and a crop top to match. "There's a bathroom through there," you come out a few minutes later and see Jordan wearing a similar thing to you, but different colors.

"Okay, now what," you say as you sit on her bed.

"We walk in there casually, you go distract everyone while I grab my stuff," she grabs a small purse from the box along with some wedges.

"This seems extravagant," you say as you slide on the shoes, "do you really need this stuff that bad."

"This is another thing that keeps me going everyday. If you're going to hang out with me, you'll have to be expecting trouble, I've had the cops called on my quite a bit over the years. The only reason I'm not in some asylum is because my parents have the money."

She gets up and you follow her out the door, "you seem to know a lot about the people at this school."

"Yeah, that's what happens when you hide in the shadows," she gets in the car, "remember the plan."

A little while later, you guys pull into the school parking lot and walk to the beach. You nervously walk to a group of people, "hey," you hear some girls shout, they're in bikinis and holding beers in there hands.

"Hi," you say awkwardly.

"I haven't seen you before."

"I'm new," you look over your shoulder to see Jordan talking to some girls, hoping that she gets her stuff soon.

The girl you're talking to comes over to you, stumbling as she does, and holds your hand up, "hey everybody, this is new girl!" Your ears ring from the shouts and you hear a deep voice from behind you.

"Hey new girl, you wanna go somewhere a little more quiet," you turn around and see a tall, muscular, handsome guy.

"Uh, yeah," you say awkwardly, trying to spot Jordan as you walk away.

He leads you to where the water meets the sand, "I'm Brett, captain of the football team."

"Cool, I'm Addie."

You see Brett open his mouth, but then hear Jordan's voice instead, "I found you. I got my stuff, lets go," Jordan starts to pull on your arm, but stops when she sees Brett.

"Jordan, is that you?"

You sit in between the two awkwardly, "yeah."

"I haven't seen you at one of Kat's parties since..."

"Shut up, now. Shut up."

"What are you doing here, I haven't seen you dressed like that since last year?"

"Yeah, I just needed to pick something up. Let's go Addie," Jordan pulls at your arm and you get up.

"Wait, what if I wanted to spend some time with Addie," you stop in your tracks.

"Addie, this guy is trouble, trust me," you look between Jordan and Brett, stuck between who you should choose.

If you choose to take Jordan's word and go with her, go to Chapter 14

If you choose to go against Jordan's suggestion and stay with Brett, go to Chapter 15
