Cole's POV
In a few hours, the bon fire will begin, thanks to Maya, I have to tell Sabrina that I like her.

"Okay students, the bon fire will begin in ten minutes so make your way to the REC feild." The intercom bellows. I start walking when someone taps my shoulder.

"Hey dork." It's Sabrina. She smiles at me, and I smile back.

"Hey. You gonna sit with me at the bon fire?" I ask, about to put on some music.

"Yeah, um... Maya said you had to tell me something. You wanna go ahead and tell me?" She asks.

Damnit Maya.

"Um... sure?" I'm so nervous. Would if she laughs in my face and says that she's way out of my league. Would if she doesn't like me back and it ruins our friendship. I grab her up by her waist. She starts blushing and I do a little bit too.

"I like you, Sabrina." I say, finally.

She just stares at me, with a blank stare. She doesn't say anything. I knew it, you hate me. I'm still latching onto her waist. She's still not saying anything. I let go of her waist, and just walked the other route to the REC field. She's still standing there.

Sabrina's POV

Wait, what? Cole? Likes. Me? No. It's probably a dare. How could your crush ever like you, Sabrina?

"Maya!" She walks up and greets me.

"Hey." She smiles.

"Hey um... Cole just told me that he likes me." She smiles.

"Okay and...?"

"I didn't say anything." I say quickly. Her jaw drops.

"Anything?" Maya says, her jaw still wide open.

"No." My voice cracks then trails off.

"But I like him. He doesn't like me, I'm sure it was just a dare." I shrug and Maya punches me.

"Ow!" I yell.

"He really likes you, Brina. He told me himself. That's why he pulled my over at lunch."

"Oh..." I start to walk away and Maya runs off to get Cole.

Maya's POV

I run over to the other route to the REC field and I see Cole walking with his head down.

I run up and jump on him and he smiles at me.

"Hey dork." I say smiling, then he laughs.

"Hey." His eyes were glassy and he didn't look happy, yet he was smiling.

"Hey... I talked to Sabrina." He says.

"I know and so did I.... she- she didn't mean to hurt you."

"Well she did. She doesn't even like me so what's the point?" He says.

"The point is... She does." I say.

"No she doesn't like me. Leave me alone." He pushes me and I quickly dial Sabrina and put her on speaker.

Me: Sabrina!

Cole stops and looks at me.

Sabrina: Yeah?

Me: Who do you like?

Sabrina: Um, I- I like.... Cole.

He smiles and I start laughing.
Cole takes my phone and starts talking.
