So many secrets

I jump from the bed startled. Looking at my surroundings nervously until I see him. I see Daniel fixing his tie looking himself in the mirror. He's wearing a black suit with a tie it fits him well. I look down at myself. Oh god it's real it wasn't a dream.

"I have an important meeting to attend to" he turns my way and checks his watch "if I don't head out now I'm gonna be late. I suggest you behave" he says in a warning tone. Turnin around he enters the bathroom. I look around the floor for my clothes but I find nothing. I get up with the blanket still wrapped around my body. Walking towards one of my drawers i open it and reach for a set of panties and bra.puttin it on I sit back on the bed. There's a knock on the door. Daniel quickly walks out the bathroom and opens the door

"I'll take it" I hear him say then the door shuts. He walks my way holding a tray with a glass of water and only that.he places the tray next to my nightstand. I look at the glass confused as to what's happening. Daniel chuckles "yes sex was amazing but unlike you I remember exactly what happened last night including when you talked back to me and so don't think you'll be getting breakfast" he kisses my forhead "oh and you're also gonna have to deal with the hung over enjoy the pain sweetie" he walks out the room leaving me on the bed thinking about yesterday so many things happened the hurt I felt yesterday was different then what I feel with Daniel, with him I'm in pain but yesterday I was hurt.

I take a sip of the water and rub my temple. I can't believe I was such a fool why would I willingly have sex with him what was I thinking sex clearly means nothing to him i mean nothing to him he's cruel no matter what. I hear a knock

"Come  in" I say

A maid walks in with a smile. We haven't had a maid ever since Daniel fired the last one "sorry if I'm interrupting mrs. whitemin but are you ready to start your day" she walks towards a window and opens the curtains letting the light in causing pain to my head "mr. Daniel told me your aren't feeling so good so you don't have an appetite" I watch as she unlocks the window and opens it. An alarm goes off a really loud one I cover my ears with my hands as she quickly takes out what seems like a phone and types something in. Silence takes over. The maid turns around chuckling nervously "oh dear happens everytime till this day I don't know why mr Daniel has such high security"

"Yes you do" I quietly say "so I won't escape am I right" I look up at her she's looking down as she plays with the hem of her outfit

"How about a warm bath?" She walks towards the bathroom and turns the water on "nice way to start your day right?"

I don't answer "what's your name?" I ask getting up not ashamed that I'm half naked I've been through worse she doesn't seem to care either

"Luna"she says walking out the bathroom and into my closet

"Well Luna" she walks out holding a yellow sundress "I know how to pick my clothes and turn my water on"

Her smile fades she looks at the floor then finally says "is this what I get for knowing you've been through a lot and you're  miserable Because Of mr Daniel and I'm trying to be nice?" She let's out

I feel bad. I've gotten so used to being treated bad that I don't know how to react when I'm being treated nice or normal "I'm sorry..it's been a while since I've seen generosity I almost forgot people had it" I take the dress and lay it on the bed "thank you" her smile reappears

"I'll be downstairs if you need me" she starts walking out the room

"Wait" i say cashing her to turn my way "what time is it" she takes out a pocket watch "it's currently 6:09 "

I force a smile "thanks" she nods and walks out. 6:09 it's super early who has a meetin this early I think to myself as I lay back in bed too tired to start my day to weak. I close my eyes and fall asleep dreaming about having my normal life back
