Evan's POV

"Game Stop was back there" Logan started to whine again. 

I made a face to show my irritation and glared at him causing him to cower back in fear. Maggie pulled her mate into her side and glared at me "What he was getting annoying" I shrugged. 

"You have no right to glare at my mate" she scolded "Anyways, if this was your game you'll be pretty upset to" she pointed out. 

"That's why I don't stupidly leave my games laying around where the pups can get them" I shot a pointed look at Logan. I don't hate him or anything but it's his fault I had to come with them to the mall and be an awkward third wheel. 

"It's not what you think we're not just here to get me another game" Logan whispered shyly. 

Logan has always been intimidated by me since I'm the Alpha's son and he's and omega. And I hate that he feels intimidated by me because I have power. "Oh really? Then why are we really here" I rolled my eyes and sighed. 

"You've been 18 for about a week now and you still haven't found your mate. We're here to buy a game and hopefully find your mate " Maggie cut in "That way you won't be the third wheel anymore" she said "And we can stop bringing you with us on dates because you're lonely" she ranted on.

I pursed my lips "Right" I walked away from them ignoring Maggie's calls for me to go back. 

>Evan come back I didn't mean to hurt your feelings< she mind linked. 

I ignored her and walked faster <Do I really seem that lonely> I asked my wolf -Treyton-.

<No just because we want to fully save ourselves for our mate doesn't make us lonely> he said <Plus we're not completely alone we have family and friends> he pointed out. 

I let out a sigh of relief he's got a point "Evan! I didn't know you were here" my eyes widened when I recognized the voice. 

<Is it too late to run> I asked Treyton. 

<Yup> he sighed.

I turned around "Emily" I faked enthusiasm "Nice seeing you here" I gave a wide smile.

"Well I know your birthday was a week ago and I didn't get you anything so here I am" Emily said. She twirled her hair between her pointer finger and her thumb and batted her lashes at me. 

I looked to the side and saw Maggie approaching me and I almost let out a sigh of relief "Well that's uh...nice of you?" I said but it came out as a question. 

She flipped her hair over her shoulder and giggled "I know I'm amazing" she placed her hand on my shoulder "And totally available" she said in a low voice trying to sound flirty. 

"Oh honey you're trying to hard" Maggie said as she came to stand by my side.

Emily looked embarrassed and she glanced between me and Maggie suspiciously. Even though Maggie has been dating Logan for a few months now everybody at school -the one's who aren't part of the pack -swear there's something going on between Maggie and me-. "Sorry" she cleared her throat "I have to go but I'll see you guys on Monday" she scurried away and Logan gave her a lot of pity.
