I have my books in my arms as I walk the full hallway of kids swarming all around the lockers and trying to get to their next class. I on the other hand, tried to fight through them to get to my locker. Sometimes I think that the school is this big aquarium. We, the kids, are fish. The hallways are long rivers full of us fish. There is a big crowd going the opposite direction you are going. Its almost like trying to run in shallow water. You have to like leap over the water to get to where your going faster.
I arrive at my red long locker, 153. I see all the my grade level teachers surrounded around my locker. They are all throwing out numbers trying to unlock my locker. I was completely puzzled. If they need my locker combination couldn't they just use their key? Why do they need to get in my locker anyway? Isn't this invading my privacy on what I have in my locker? I ask too many questions.
"Try 11, 23, 7!" yelled Mrs. Reed, the math teacher. Her voice dragged on her lips, sounding like a dirty raccoon searching for food by little clues hidden around the park to find food.
"What are you guys doing at my locker?" I questioned them with a puzzled face. They all turn around at the same time concerned. They were acting a little over dramatic. They had wide eyes and frustrated eyebrows.
"We know you have drugs in here Miss June Smith!" Screeched Mrs. Thomas, the science teacher. "Are they trying to hide something," I asked myself, "or do they seriously think I have drugs? This is kind of an off day for me..." Mrs. Thomas had a rigid scratchy voice that hurt your ears when she yells. She always had a voice that sounded like she wanted kids to lose their hearing. She had a bad habit of yelling.
"No I don't!" I raised my voice. I pushed my eyebrows together, shaking my head lightly. I admit, I was a little over-dramatic.
"Don't you dare yell at us!" angered Mrs. Borns, the reading teacher. She pointed her long index finger at me. She had a sharp crazy look in her eyes. Just to think Mrs. Borns just got out of mean pregnant mode. Now she acts like she ran a marathon while having triplets.
"Yes, you do because you look like you've been doing some... type of drug!" Snapped Mr. Brattain, the social studies teacher. He paused trying to think what he was going to say. (He finally shows some emotion for once.)
"I'm just tired...a lot." I rolled my hazel eyes. I fake yawn to prove that I'm tired. I adjusted my books in my arms getting very frustrated standing here while I need to get to my next class.
"Prove it!" Miss Glomb crossed her arms in disagreement and she bent her left knee forward. I walked over, slamming my books in Mr. Brattain's arms. I gave him a "I hate you" face.
"22 to the right, 9 to left, 7 to the right again, and pull up the little black handle." I whispered to myself. I swing open my red locker with all of my books inside except my science book, which was in Mr. Brattain's strong arms. "God, my lockers a mess." I thought to myself. I glanced at the small space in the top of my locker to hold books, but all I have is scraps of paper.
"See? No drugs." I said proving them wrong. I step back putting my right arm out in front of my drugless locker.
The beginning of the 5th period bell rings throughout the school. "Great I'm late for class." I thought.
"You must be hiding them!" Mrs. Reed looked around. She got on her knees exploring the marble ground. I was distracted by Mrs. Reed Being weird, but I caught !a glimpse of Miss G. reaching over to grab my arm.
"Don't touch me!" I quickly try to pull my arm away from her, but she swiped her hand over my arm faster than I can say anything else. I turned and tried to pull away.
I see Corbin standing there blankly beside the corner, where I first saw the teachers around my locker. He looked like he was a strong buff soldier in a trance, in another world, or even hypnotized. Still as a post, but stern as a fighter. His hair was shaved off and he had a blue shirt with gray sweatpants.
"Corbin! Corbin! Help!" I yell with my voice splitting a little, trying to snap him out of his strong gaze as i pull away from Miss G. The more I struggle, the tighter her grip becomes. She pulls me back just like a cowgirl throwing a rope over the cows neck. She had a strong grip on both of my arms now. Miss G. pushed me to go forward leading me toward Corbin.
"Tell him the truth!" She yelled in my ear, on the top of her lungs. "We know everything about you. Why don't you tell your love the truth." Miss G. gritted her teeth together mocking me with a devilish snarl in her lips.
"How about you tell me some answers! What did you do to Corbin? How do u know I like him? Why do you think I have drugs? DID--" I start to yell, but I was cut off by a large growing voice behind me.
"SHUTUP!" Mrs. Borns screams having a large growl in the back of her voice. Miss Glomb loses her grip and throws me onto Corbin's buff chest. His plain blue shirt is loose and covers a little of his gray sweatpants.
I step back off of Corbin and turn around and see all the teachers slowly coming at me. My face grew rigid with fear. I run past Corbin and make a run for the front office. My black boots dragged on the floor. The two belts on my boots jingled back and forth as I ran faster. My heart is pounding uncontrollable, I start to pant as I see kids coming out of their classrooms. They looked hypnotized too...
