The door had a big black gate around the glass door. It looked like one of those olden time castle gate. Corbin types the numbers 1, 9, 6, 7 in a padlock on the side of the door. The gate rises above the doors and Corbin has to type in another code before we actually go in.

"There is a gate on the inside and the outside." He said typing in 1, 9, 6, 7. "There is a code for the gates to go up and down too. It's weird because they seem like they've been waiting for the apocalypse." I nod not saying anything. He opens the window door for me. When I get in I see Corbin type 2, 5, 8, 3. I heard the gate from the outside slam on the ground. The sound rings in my ears, screeching pain through out my body. This time I cover my ears realizing this time I would burst if I didn't cover my ears shut. I hear the gate slam on the ground again, but this time it echoed all around the lobby. I could feel my feet vibrate on the floor.

"WHO'S THAT!" screamed the cashier at the desk. The desk boxed him in like a safe room, but only no walls. There was also a little door, so he can come in and out. He hid his face under the desk only revealing his green eyes, blonde hair, and the tip of his skinny fingers on the desk, holding his balance.

"Shh! This is June. She's with me. She almost got attacked. Ok? We'll be leaving now ok?" Corbin explaining in a deep whisper.

"Ok. Ok." He starts to calm down as he slowly arises from the desk. "H-H-Hello. J-J-June. M-M-My N-N-Name is Billy. If you need anything just tell me." He trembles with fear. I could see him shaking and his knuckles clench. I nod again and look around. All there is, is chairs, the desk, a bunch of keys behind the desk hanging from hooks, a TV, and an elevator beside the desk and pot of beautiful fall colored mums on the desk.

"C'mon June." Corbin points with his head at the elevator. I try to soak in as much as I can of the lobby, but I can't wait to see our room. I run towards the elevator holding one strap(my book bag strap)over my shoulder. Corbin types the code for the gate to go up. As the gate rises He pushes the "going up" button. I cover my ears expecting a big slam when Corbin gets in and types the code for the gate to go down. He presses the 10th floor button. I was worried though. What if there was a zombie up there? What if it's hideous or uncomfortable there? I shouldn't be worried though. Should I?
