Kit

A lot of things was going through his head as he followed his friends and Yo along the hospital corridor.
"He's going to be ok, Kit." Beam said, trying to reassure him. But Kit couldn't wipe the anxiety and worry from his face.
He needed to see it for himself that Ming was ok before he knows he can relax. After getting the room number from the nurse at the counter, he couldn't help feeling more anxious to get to his Nong. 😣 He felt so guilty... he had been trying to avoid meeting him...what if...
"😲 Ming! What happened?! Are you ok?" he heard Yo asked worriedly as they reached the room.
As soon as he entered, he felt a bit (just a bit) of the worry leave him when he saw Ming propped up against the pillows on the hospital bed.
"He's alive 😥" Kit reassured himself, staring at him and checking over his injuries.
"Yo. P's. I'm ok. It was just a small accident. Thanks for coming to check on me." Ming answered tiredly, the pain from his injuries showing on his face.
Kit couldn't stop himself.
"What do you mean it was just a small accident?! 😠 You have a bandage on your head! And your arm is sprained! Which part of that is ok?!"
"Kit, calm down."

Ming

Ming stared at his P in surprise. His P was trying to even out his breathing now, after the outburst. P'Beam was beside him, getting him to calm down.
"It felt like he cared" Ming thought sadly. "But that can't be right. 😔 P'Kit doesn't care about me... He must be annoyed at being dragged to the hospital by P'Pha and P'Beam." Ming thought disappointedly.
"Ming, what did the doctor say? Will you be staying at the hospital?" he heard Yo asked. "I can stay the night and accompany you."
"I knocked my head and hand on the steering wheel when the car behind crashed onto mine. The doctor said it is just a mild concussion and I can actually go home if I have someone to stay with me for the night."
"Will you be able to stay with me at my room tonight, Yo? I don't want to stay in the hospital."
Kit

"Why did he ask Yo and not me?" Kit thought, shocked that Ming did not turn to him.
"P'Pha, do you mind?" Kit heard Yo asked.
"Of course he doesn't! Right Pha?" Beam answered teasingly, trying to lighten up the atmosphere. "As long as you guys don't get up to mischief tonight ~ 😆".
"Beam!"
Kit didn't even feel like reacting to the teasing that Beam started. Pha's and Yo's blushing went ignored as he kept thinking about Ming's request to Yo just now. Ming had sounded hesitant and sad... like he was not expecting anything from him...
"No, Yo."
Kit's sudden words made everyone stopped and look at him.
"I'll stay with Ming tonight."
"I'll look after him."
