"🤤 P... P'Kit... P... You- you just... you just-"

"😒 What? You didn't want me to?"

"😲 No!- Yes!- I mean- I- I-"

🤧 *Cough* *Cough* *Cough*

"P'Kit! Are you okay? Here, here! Have a sip of water!" Ming said in a rush, getting the cup of water from the bedside table and holding it out for his P to drink.

Once his P had finished drinking, he quickly put down the cup and helped his P to lean backwards onto the pillow. He brought his hand down onto his P's chest to soothe his coughing, and suddenly stilled his movements as his hand was held tightly in place by his P.

"😟 P'Kit?"

"Ming, I know what you are thinking. You feel that this is all your fault, isn't it? That you should not have pushed me. That you should have just kept quiet about your feelings and not forced me to confront mine. That you caused me to fall sick and faint."

"😔 P..."

"Well, you are right. This IS all your fault actually."

"😢 P, I..."

"If it wasn't for your stubbornness, I would never have known you as more than just a senior and a junior."

"If it wasn't for your little mischiefs, my heart would never have fluttered and stirred with feelings."

"If it wasn't for your push, I would never have gotten the courage to face the fact that I have already fallen for you."

"If it wasn't for your pursuit, I don't think we would have arrived at this point of time in our lives."

"🤤 P... 😭 P..." said Ming as he placed his head onto the bed and hide his face from Kit.

"😲 Wha- what? Are you crying now, you idiot?! This- this is all your fault, you know?? I fell sick because I couldn't sleep well, thinking about how to tell you and all that- Sheesh! Are you crying?? Stop- stop crying! 😤"

~Silence~

"Ming?"

~Silence~

"Ming? Say someth-"

"😏 You fell for my charms, didn't you P?" said Ming smugly, looking up suddenly to look directly in his P's eyes.

"Wh- what?"

"I knew it! I just knew that you would not be able to resist this handsome face of mine 😆."

"You! You! After all the things I have said, this is what you-"

"I love you, P."

"Those words again." thought Kit, stunned at hearing them once more.

"Just 3 words, said with so much- so much confidence." wondered Kit, as he looked at Ming who had a smug and smiling expression on his face, with traces of tears at the corners of his eyes.

"I- I- "

"You love me too, P'Kit!! Yessss!!" said Ming excitedly, standing up and doing a victory pose.

Looking at his Nong, who was now excitedly and happily doing a victory dance, Kit couldn't help... but smile.

Finally, this is the end of my 2nd story on MingKit.

Hope everyone enjoyed all the chapters that I have written so far. Positive feedback is much appreciated. 😂 And yes, as I have said before, my chapters are usually quite short so please don't comment negatively on it.

There was MingKit-The Beginning and this story, MingKit-The Pursuit. I am thinking of MingKit-The Decision next.

Hmmm.... or maybe I should do a story to re-write the ending of Guardian.
