Monday evening (cont.)

Ming stared blankly at his P's face, not knowing what else he could do. He has been sitting beside his P's bed all this while... right from the time the doctor had allowed them into the room after bringing them the much awaited update on his P's condition. The others had left just a few minutes ago but Ming... he just needed to have his P by his side right now.
"He's okay. P'Kit is okay." Ming thought in relief as he recalled back what the doctor had said earlier on.
"The doctor said that it's just fever and exhaustion, from lack of rest... right- right P'Kit?" Ming whispered worriedly, as he absentmindedly held and stroke his P's hand. However, Ming could not help it but think that maybe... maybe this... it could all be because of him. His confession, his....
"God... It's all MY fault. It's all MY fault, P! I- I shouldn't have pushed you. I- I knew you were not ready but I- I... It's all my fault..." cried Ming as he reproached himself for the state that his P is in. All the things that P'Beam said to him earlier on... Ming just did not feel that his P falling ill is a coincidence.
"I'm sorry, P'Kit. I'm sorry! I- I should not be here. My presence would just put more pressure on you. I- I should leave..." Ming quickly decided as he stood up and turn to leave the room. He stood still though, stunned, and his movement came to a stop as his hand was suddenly tightly grasped and held back.
"Where do you think you're going?"
