Leo is an ordinary mammal living his life, but what's in store for him he would...
As darkness came, Leo felt oddly calm, but then remembered Spirit and his mother, waiting for him to come through the door and tell them how his day went.. what are they gonna do without him? What will HE do without them?! Then, suddenly the darkness was fading into a light yellow color, and Leo thought to himself trying not to freak out,"Wait.. am I in Heaven? So I'm actually dead?! What about Spirit and Mom?! What am I gonna do..." he didn't know what else he could do but cry. He felt the urge to look up at the stars because they always comforted him. But he was afraid there would be no stars. He finally looked up, and saw no stars except the constellation Leo, the tears stopped flowing down his cheek as he just stared up at the group of stars, the constellation he shares his name with. Leo hears a noise from behind him. Startled, he turns around slowly, not knowing what he would see. But what came out of the clouds was a white, blue and yellow wolf with a halo above his head. Must be an angel. "Hello Leo." The angel said in a deep voice while grinning down at Leo who was now scrunched up in a tight little ball on the ground. Almost petrified, all he could manage to get out was, "H-hi.." the Angel laughed. "You were always pretty outgoing. What changed Leo? Did I scare you?" He spread out his white and blue wings and flew over to Leo and then turned upside down staring face to face with him. "W-where am I? Am I in H-Heaven?" Leo squeaked. The Angel turned right side up, dropped onto all fours, sat down right next to Leo and then laughed a bit. "Close my friend. We are not in Heaven. But yet, we are not down to earth. We are in between the two realms." The Angel said smiling at Leo. "W-well sh-shouldn't I be in H-Heaven?" Leo asked panicking again for not knowing if he did something wrong. The Angel smiled at him with amusement in his eyes. "You have not figured it out have you?" Leo looked at him, his panic dying down to curiosity and confusion. "What do you mean?" The Angel looked at Leo for a minute, then at the constellation above them, then back at Leo raising one eyebrow. "What?" Leo asked really confused now. The Angel smiled and said,"I am a guardian." Leo was somewhat shocked, and a bit flattered. He had a Guardian? "Wait, what? You're my Guardian?! I didn't even know I had a Guardian!" Leo stood up. "I mean.. does EVERYONE have a Guardian, or just me? Oh! Do you-" the Guardian cut him off. "No, I'm not your Guardian." Leo could feel his face turn the color of a tomato. "Oh.." the Guardian could see he was disappointed so he said," I am everyone's Guardian. I am the Guardian of Life."he said with a big smile."Otherwise known as the first Guardian."

Leo was real confused on why he was here. "I have a few questions first of all, may I ask them?.." Leo said somewhat shyly. The Guardian of Life nodded politely. "Ok, well um where did my clothes go?" Leo had lost his shirt and pants and shoes. The Guardian laughed. "In this realm, we are all feral. You'll get used to it, and you can still where clothes here, if you want." The Guardian of Life chuckled a little and amusement lit up his eyes. "Oh, ok, I thought it was like, when we die we are naked." They both laughed. "I have one more question for you though." The Guardian cocked his head slightly, waiting for him to ask his question."Well, if this is a realm for Guardians, why am I here?" Leo asked. The Guardian of Life laughed again. "What? If I'm not a Guardian then why am I here?" Life raised his eyebrows and looked back at the constellation above them. Leo still confused didn't understand. Then it hit him. "Wait.. am I going to be a- oh my goodness!" The Guardian looked back at Leo with amusement and a bit of relief reflecting in his eyes. Leo finally realized that he was here to become a Guardian. But why him?..
