Chapter 6: Remembering

//before I start this chapter I want to say because this story is linked to DJ_Loves_Blueberry 's story I will be tagging them every time I use one of her characters. Once again thanks for letting me use them :3\\

..Leo finally realized he was here to become a Guardian. But why him?..

"C'mon, follow me." The Guardian of Life smiled and walked into a cloud. "Um.. o-ok?.." Leo walked into the cloud after the Guardian. What he saw was pure beauty.. "Welcome to our realm. A realm where guardians work and live in peace happiness and harmony." The Guardian of Life watched with amusement as Leo looked around, eyes wide and curious, as if he wanted to run off and explore every nook and cranny in the light pink tinted clouds. "Woah.." Leo breathed. The beautiful place took his breath away. "Mr. Guardian of Life, may I-" Leo was I interrupted by a laugh coming from the Guardian. "Ha! Ah, Leo you may call me, Life." Life looked at Leo with an amused warm expression on his face. Leo didn't know what to say, he was too embarrassed. "Sorry I embarrassed you, please, continue." Leo straightened up and looked at Life smiling. "Is there any chance I could maybe explore? Or I mean, you could introduce me to other Guardians?" Leo looked at Life, his eyes filled with joy. "Actually," Life looked across the clouds, Leo did not know what he was looking at though. "Yeah, let's go meet some Guardians." Life looked back at Leo and smiled. Leo's eyes lit up with excitement and he started to pad the ground, ready to go.

Life folded out his wings and started to hover a little, them he started to fly forward, slow enough so Leo could keep up. Leo sprinted towards him and then slowed his pace to a steady jog. "Let's see.. Hm, who first?" Life said, half to himself. "Ah, I know. Please follow me Leo." Life sped up a bit bringing Leo to a run. "We're going to go find InK and Kibuo first." Leo opened his mouth as if to ask a question but Life spoke first. "InK is the Guardian of artists, and Kibou the Guardian of Hopes." He smiled warmly. "They're also brothers which is very rare to have in this realm."
They kept running when suddenly Leo stopped. Life noticed and slowed to a halt. He turned around and flew over to Leo with his beautiful blue and yellow wings. He dropped next to Leo. "Leo?" He whispered soothingly. "Are you ok?" Leo sat down and stared at the ground. A tear slid down his cheek. "Leo? What's wrong?" Life said again. Leo slowly turned his head to look at Life. Tears filled his eyes and were to start tumbling down his face soon.
"My mother and sister..." he whispered, so quietly Life barely heard. "I want to go home..." Life scooted closer to him and wrapped his wing around him. "I'm sorry Leo, but it wasn't your destiny to be with them.." Life cooed gently. "But.. why?" Leo turned to Life, tears streaming down his face. Life gave him a sympathetic look.
"Leo you are going to become a Guardian, little do you know the path you will be taking, and you never know, you may become your family's Guardian." Life smiled and stood up. "C'mon, are you ready to go meet InK and Kibou now?" Leo brought a paw to his face and wiped his tears away. He stood up and looked warmly at Life. "Yes, yes I am." Life nodded and opened his wings and flew onward, Leo running along beside him.

Sorry if this chapter seemed a little boring but things are coming! I'll try to write more soon too school is weighing down on me at the moment.
