Trying to forget what his sister had done, he reads a book. The book is about the sky, and the clouds. Leo always thought the whole sky was very calming and graceful, and like magic, all that rage he felt about his sister had faded to something that might've even been happiness..
All of a sudden Leo heard a knock on the door. "Come in!" Its was his little sister. "I-I'm sorry Leo.. I didn't mean to yell at you.." she stares at him, her eyes red as if she had been crying. "Oh Spirit, it's ok," he ran over to give her a tight hug. "Just you need to promise me something." He releases his grip and gives her a hard stare. She looks at him confused. "What?" He looks into the depths of her beautiful eyes and sees a bit of worry in them. "Don't go back to that boy.. ok? Please my life's hard enough without you doing something like that.." she stares at him with disbelief and rage at first, but then it dies down to curiosity and confusion. "What's so hard about your life? I mean, you're graduating this year, and you have Mike right? What's so bad?"
He stares back at her. All he feels at the moment was sadness.. he couldn't tell her anything, it would make things worse. "Um, yeah, I-I don't know what I'm talking about.. my life's perfect.." he says the last words with a hint of sarcasm, but Spirit doesn't seem to notice. "Ok, well good night. And before you tell me again, yes, I will stop seeing 'that boy'. And by the way, we were only friends." She says as she walks out the door. Leo starts thinking about the bad things he suffers everyday.. the bullying, school, life.. he doesn't even know the purpose of living. He's thought about death and what happens and what it's like to die, not out of suicidal thoughts, just curiosity, but doesn't know what would happen to his mother or sister. He knows they need him, but how could he keep up with the things going on in his terrible life..
