Your P. O. V.

"Alright, we are near, just pass those rocks and we're there" I said pointing at the front, where huge rocky columns and hills shielded the hot waters. Hot steam floated from the other side up to the recently lifted sky.

"And, you know how to get in?" Maui asked, making the boat stop.

"Yup, the only entrance is underwater, but you could also go flying, but, you'll fried. Now come on and do your thing with that hook of yours" I snorted while pointing at his hook. He gave me a weird look, and then he smirked.

"At least this hook caught something" He lifted it up to eye level and neared with it to me. I lifted a brown and eyed him curiously.

"And what could that be?" I asked unsure.

And he just pushed me into the water making me yelp, I swam back up and held the first hard thing I could grab, since my hair was on my face, not letting me see anything. That thing pulled me out of the water and I heard the amused laughs of Maui." A Mermaid"

"You little..." I stopped myself, since.... I can now order the ocean to push him into the volcanoes right here, right now.

"Cutie? I know right?" - Oh my gods.... stop. doing. that. - I could practically feel his smug grin, he moved my hair from my face, saw my glare and scoffed. "So... now please tell me where the entrance is" he asked more serious now.

"Put me down first" I growled, he shrugged and threw me to the water again. I yelped in surprise, and I glared at the raft - Alright... Maui, you'll pay- "OCEAN! GIVE ME HIS HOOK AND PULL HIM INTO THE WATER!" I yelled frustrated, but that fury soon banished when his hook was now floating besides me and Maui was inside the water again. He glared at me, and I scoffed like he did. He swam angrily towards me, oh boy...

He tried to snatch the hook from my hands, I giggled everytime he didn't catch it. "Apologize and I may return this" I said, he scowled and swam back up. I followed but keep my distance in case he wanted to try something.

"Alright, fish lad- (Y/N). I'm sooooorry, okay?" He said and sighed annoyed. "Now give my hook" He extended his hand reaching for the hook. I handed it to him and rolled my eyes when he screeched and turned into a shark. "Now, where's the entrance?"

I sighed and pointed downward, "At the bottom" He nodded and followed me deeply into the thermal waters. The deeper we got, the darker it was. My fins started glowing, but not enough to see the rocks nearby.

"Could you please swim faster?" he urged.

I whipped my head and looked at him annoyed "Do you have any idea of what's on the other side?" I asked him while crossing my arms.

"Uh, volcanoes? Stop playing around and keep going fish lady" he ushered with his fins.

I released and annoyed sigh - Guess we don't get along - "But don't say I didn't warn you" I threatened and continued swimming downward towards the entrance  to the underwater volcanoes reef.

Maui tasked and muttered to himself "Right, like I can't get take care of it myself" - If you only knew what is on the other side -

A faint amber glow appeared on the right side of one rocky pillar, I stopped to face it, and pointed at it for Maui to see. "How hot it is?" he asked.

"Enough to kill all the plants around" I answered, not tearing my gaze from the entrance. He gave a curt nod and pushed me a bit with his shark fin. I sighed and followed him into the cave entrance.

The water's temperature rose so much, that, if we where outside the water, we'll be sweating so bad. We stopped at the entrance and took a glance inside, and there was seen only around two big volcanoes, but I know they are far way more. I put a hand on top of Maui' s shark head. "Are you sure you want to go inside? Sharks can't stand too much heat"

"Then, what creature can stand it" He asked.

I shook my head "I don't know, Mermaids can't stand it too much either"

He sighed and looked around and back to the entrance. The aura around him changed, and he narrowed his eyes. "Well, we'll go in and out quickly" He said, and pushed me inside with him. "If you want, I can swim fast, so grab on my dorsal" I nodded and complied.

He then dashed through the the boiling water, dodging any rocky column, we were nearing the center, and I knew Maui didn't know were the real entrance is. "Maui, go up to the center" I said pointing at the top.

"Okay" He exclaimed and dashed up, making us jump out of the water, I braced myself for the impact and closed my eyes. We landed with a grunt each.

"Guess that's a landing" I heard Maui say, but is sounded more like a hum. "Hey, fish lady"

I lifted my head and held to it with a hand. "What?" I opened my eyes, finding some inky drawings... - Wait... please tell me I didn't land on... - I moved my gaze, and face-palmed. - Fudge - Maui had a smug grin, and wrapped his arms around me so I could move away.

"I thought I was going to be the first one making  move, but you did it first!" he exclaimed.

"Maui, this is really not the time for jokes" I growled and pushed him so I could get away.

"And why not? I like the view" He then chuckled.

"You realize where inside a cave filled with volcanes and water right?" I growled.

"Uh yeah?" He said and lifted a brow.

"And you know I can make the ocean do wherever I want, right?" I narrowed my eyes at him with a glare.

He nodded slowly "I don't get what are you saying, fish lady"

- Dork - "Are you serious?!" He thought for moment, and shrugged. "Besides, where's the, 'going in and out quickly'?"

He rolled his eyes and released me, I stood up and walked a bit away from him. I took a glance around, apparently we landed on a scorched island, and there was a closed door on the floor. "There's your entrance to hell" I said.

"Well, we better get going"

One time I was cooking, and for some reason I put my finger on the pan, just because I wanted to feel how hot it was XD
