So I'm thinking of making this first in Will's POV and then making another chapter of the same thing but it's in Nico's POV. Would y'all read it?

WPOV

I was teaching archery when it all happened. I'd like to say it wasn't my fault, but it was. I should've been there for him. Maybe then he wouldn't have done it.

I helped one kid learn how to hold his bow. "Just put your hand on the- yeah, right there. Okay now put your fingers like this..."

"Will! C'mere! We need help quickly! It's Nico!"

My heart dropped. "I'll be back."

I sprinted towards where Kayla was standing and she started running to the pavilion. I wondered what happened to Nico. Was he hurt? Or worse?

No. Don't think like that.

"What's going on?!"

"Nico- he just- he doesn't realize what he's doing-" We arrived at the pavilion and my jaw dropped.

"N-Nico?"

There were skeletons everywhere. Some were holding campers in place and others were chasing the ones that had gotten away, like Percy and Annabeth and Piper.

The shadows were darker and there were more of them.

This wasn't Nico. It couldn't be! He would never hurt anyone...

He turned towards me, fear in his eyes. He didn't want to be doing this. Maybe someone made him swear on the River Styx that he'd do it. But even then, I knew Nico well enough to know that he would die rather than do this.

A skeleton grabbed means the fear in Nico's eyes quadrupled.

He wasn't talking. Why wasn't he talking?

"Nico, stop, please!"

I heard a deep, evil laugh that definitely was not Nico's.

"Why are you doing this?!"

A tear fell down his cheek. Something was wrong. I guess that was obvious, but it was worse than I thought. Nico wasn't in control of his powers. Someone else was.

He suddenly fell to his knees. Whoever was taking over him was using too much energy. Nico was strong, but this much would kill him.

I managed to escape from the skeleton holding me and ran over to him. I took his hand.

He looked up at me with a clear message written across his face, "Stay away from me. Get everyone away. I'm dangerous."

Tears started rolling down my cheeks. "Who's making you do this?!"

He took a ragged breath and looked around for a way to explain. He pointed to the clock.

Who's the god of time? Or was it a Titan?

My eyes widened. "Kronos?"

Nico managed a small nod and then whimpered in pain, which broke my heart. Kronos must've made it hurt when he moves.

"How was Kronos defeated in the war last time?"

I felt a hand on my shoulder. It was Annabeth. She was crying.

I remembered Luke.

The only way to defeat Kronos was to kill the person he had taken over.

My heart stopped.

"I'm so sorry..." Annabeth sobbed.

"No. No, he's not going to die. We can find another way!"

Nico tensed up as several more skeletons crawled out of the ground.

"Kronos is going to use him until he dies..." Someone else said. I looked behind me. It was Percy.

"Well then help me figure out how to save him quickly!"

"How did Kronos come back?!" Annabeth realized.

"I don't know." Percy said.

I pulled Nico into my arms. "Please Nico, stay with me... I-I love you."

He took another shaky breath. He weakly reached for his knife, which he had obtained after his sword was damaged. I didn't understand what he was doing until he handed it to me.

He wanted me to kill him.

"N-No. I can't kill you. I won't!"

He coughed. He dropped the knife in my hand and luckily I caught the handle, not the blade.

I heard Percy shout and looked behind me to find the skeletons had grabbed him and Annabeth. One was coming after me.

"Don't make m-me do this. (666 words.) P-Please."

A couple more skeletons appeared from the ground and Nico passed out. I held him closer to me.

Then something that was definitely not a skeleton came up from the ground.

Hades.

He looked furious. "WHO'S DOING THIS TO MY SON?!" He roared. His eyes landed on me and he glared.

Schist, I won't be able to save Nico if I die...

"It's Kronos! He's taken over Nico's body!"

Hades made a hand motion like he was pulling a rope. Then, the soul of Kronos slipped out of Nico's body. All the skeletons fell to the ground.

Hades yelled at Kronos for a good hour. I was too busy fussing over Nico to listen. I have him ambrosia but there wasn't much else I could do. He needed rest.

"Why would you do this?!" I heard Hades demand when I finally finished caring for Nico.

"He's the strongest demigod at the moment. I could take over him and kill everyone or I could get someone to kill him and the strongest one would be out of the way."

"What about Percy?" Hades glared at the ghost.

"Percy didn't have monsters in his head for me to take advantage of. Besides, his powers could only be useful near water."

Hades was shaking with rage. He snapped his fingers and Kronos's Ghost dissolved. Then Hades ran over to me and Nico.

"Is he alright?"

"I don't know. Lets get him to the infirmary."

I picked him up but Hades took him from my arms. I gave him a worried look.

"Don't worry. I'll be careful with your boyfriend."

I blinked. "What?"

"Has he not asked you yet? Darn it, it was supposed to be a secret." He carried Nico to the infirmary, leaving me wondering what just happened.
