evelyn's pov
i ended staying at robert's for two days, as i really didn't want to face steven (or the rest of the smiths) after what happened.

the day i left was a wednesday and it was an extremely cold day. robert dropped me off at a nearby motel and gave me some cash to pay for it. i hugged him and thanked him for everything.

morrissey's pov
i sighed as i walked around the town, looking for evelyn. i needed to talk to her desperately. but i couldn't find her.
after an hour or so i gave up looking for her and sat on a nearby bench thinking things over.
then i remembered something.
johnny was still dating angie, when he had kissed evelyn. that was it. i was going to tell angie about johnny and evelyn.

i walked over to johnny's flat and knocked on the door, hoping for angie to answer. she obviously did, and let me inside and made two cups of tea for the both of us.
"so what have you came here to talk to me about moz?" she asked.
"well, it's something quite serious and i know you're not going to like it." i said, fumbling with my hands.
"okay?" she said.
"johnny kissed evelyn." i said quickly.
"wait. what?" she said, confused.
"johnny kissed evelyn." i said again, but this time slower.

her hands began to shake and she put the mug down on the table.
"oh. is that so?" she said, a few tears dropping down.
i nodded. "it's true."

just then, johnny opened the door and walked in.
"hello!" he said, cheerfully.
angie stood up and marched over to him.
"how dare you!?" she screamed.
"what?" he said, confused.
"how dare you fucking kiss evelyn!" she screamed.
"it was an accident!" he said, trying to defend himself. and then he saw me.

he stormed over to me.
"did you fucking tell her?" he asked.
i stayed silent.
"did you?!" he yelled.
i nodded silently.
next thing i knew, i had blood streaming out of my nose because johnny had hit me hard in the nose.

"what the hell johnny!?" i said, holding my nose.
"i'm leaving the fucking band." he declared.
"fine!" i yelled
but i knew it wasn't fine.

johnny's pov.
did i really want to leave the band? i mean, i love the job too much and they are my best mates so i can't, can i?

i sighed deeply and rubbed my eyes.
"i'm not going to leave the band." i said.
"well that's good." morrissey said.
i nodded my head in agreement.
"we need to find evelyn." he said.
i nodded my head once more.

i faced angie.
"angie, i love you. and only you. kissing evelyn was an accident. i don't love her. i love you." i said to her.
she sighed. "i need time to think things over, okay?" she said.
i nodded. "i understand."

morrissey's pov.
me and johnny looked everywhere in the town and i thought the worst thing. she'd obviously gone back to her parents.
but she couldn't of. she wouldn't do that, not in a million years.
but knowing her, she probably would. out of spite.

johnny nudged me.
"what?" i said, annoyed.
"look!" he said, pointing at a girl walking out of a motel.
"is that.. is that evelyn?" i asked, surprised.
"i think it is. come on, we need to talk to her." he said, dragging me over to her.

she was wearing dark sunglasses, her hair down, leather boots with a tall heel, a short denim skirt and a joy division t-shirt.
"evelyn?" i asked.
she turned to look at me, chewing on her gum.
"oh. knew i'd bump into you two. hi steven. hello johnny." she said, saying johnny's name in disgust.
johnny sighed. "i'm sorry for kissing you evelyn." he said.
"yeah. you better be fucking sorry." she snapped back angrily.

i sighed.
"evelyn. do you want to come back with me and go back to how things were? or do you wanna stay here at this seedy motel?" i questioned.
she paused to think about it.
"i guess i'll come back with you. on one exception." she said.
"and what's that?" i asked.
"you don't bring up anything about what's happened in the past few days." she said, to the both of us.
"we won't." we both said.
she nodded and walked off.

"where are you going?" i asked her.
"back to your place!" she called back with a smirk and a giggle.
i laughed and walked after her.

i guess things turn out alright in the end then.
