Midday had hit, and Jack and Elsa were already cruising through Colorado. Everything was as beautiful as Elsa had hoped it would be. The vivid colours of the trees stood out like paint on a canvas, gorgeous and exciting. There were mountains everywhere. Jack vowed to himself one day he would climb right to the top of one. They had the windows rolled down to smell the fresh air and feel the crisp clarity of water in the nearby lakes.

"Elsa, this place is incredible." Jack shook his head in disbelief. They had swapped at 12pm and he was now the one driving.

"I know right." She replied calmly. She had her window rolled right down and was making airwaves with her hand.

Her sunglasses gave everything around her a reddish tint, making it all the more beautiful. She allowed her eyes to focus on the individual hairs that were floating up and down in the cool breeze. She was sure she'd never felt this peaceful in her entire existence.

"Take a left here." Elsa watched as Jack drove smoothly along the roads. She'd looked up a campsite they could stay at and found a really pretty one. However, she just hadn't yet told Jack they'd have to hike a little bit to get there. "And we're here."

Jack looked around in confusion. It was just a car park. "Where?"

"We um... we have to hike to reach the actual campsite." She unbuckled her seatbelt.

"You little.... misleading... adventurer." He narrowed his eyes at her.

"Yep!" She stuck her tongue out at him. He returned the gesture.

"C'mon, we have to get going, it takes like 30 minutes to get there, I don't want to miss sunset." Elsa quickly jumped out of the car and shut the door so Jack couldn't argue with her.

She opened the trunk and grabbed her backpack, shoving all the extra stuff she had in the front of the car with her in there too. It was pretty full, but seeing as it was mostly clothes, it wasn't hard to carry. She'd taken out the tent bag figuring Jack would just carry it. His backpack was tiny, he could use something else to carry, after all. Jack climbed out of the car and swung the two bags over his shoulder with ease.

"This way!" Elsa grinned at him from the start of the footpath, and he made his way over to her with an eye roll.

"Yay, we're here!" Elsa clapped her hands together, gleefully looking around at the campsite.

They were quite high up in the mountains, and the campsite lay atop a hill, which had a large flat surface. This way, it had an amazing view of everything around them. Elsa couldn't believe the beauty of it. Jack however, was practically crawling behind her, panting like a dog who had been running around a park.

"Water." He croaked, jokingly. He hadn't coped well with the hike.

"You really need to get more exercise." She gently nudged him with her foot, making him collapse onto the ground. "Like, seriously."

"Hello!" A woman greeted them. Startled, Elsa suddenly turned around to face her.

"Oh, hi!" She smiled.

"Name, please?" She had some weird sort of electronic reservation checker in her hand.

"We didn't make a reservation." Jack was still panting on the ground. The woman frowned at him.

"We were just hoping we could buy a pitch now?" Elsa grinned hopefully.

"I'll see what I can do. Uh- why is he so... tired?" She tried to avoid the word- 'dead'.
