Lyel pinned Taren to the ground as he made a thunderous growl, claiming the role of an alpha. But Taren didn't belong to their pack and he wasn't the kind of man to obey some unknown soldier. There was much more to him. And so he head-butted Lyel and flipped him to change their position. Without another word, he thrust his hand into his enemy's flesh, digging in until he caught his heart.
Taren growled with rage as he pulled out his heart, his thick saliva fluidly flowing in his fangs and tossed the bloody organ to the floor.
That silenced Lyel permanently.
Taren walked toward Peter as he heard his screams, battling an anonymous fire. What he had said before still echoed inside his head. He killed Sebastian.
"I'm going to kill you," he muttered.
"Noooo! Please, help me!" Peter begged, his skin distorted because of the acid. Taren could smell his fear. But even death wouldn't be enough for him to pay for what he did.
He killed Sebastian.
He almost hurt Emily.
He hurt a lot of people because of the experimentation.
"You're a good boy, Taren," Peter managed to say, blindly looking at him. He felt his presence. He felt death. "Please, help me."
"You killed Sebastian," Taren repeated his words.
Peter sobbed. "It's nothing personal... Please."
He glared at Peter, as if wanting to crash his skull. "It-is-personal-to-me."
The man cried out, screaming for help.
"No one can hear you." Taren knelt beside him, no mercy on his eyes. "You don't deserve to die this easy. It will give your physical body some peace and I can't let that happen. I'll give you your hell."
He grabbed Peter's head with his large hands and dragged him to one of the cubicles before tossing him hard inside. Taren locked the door, letting the thick glass divide them. He went to the telephone on the wall and dialed a number.

When Emily reached the parking lot's entrance, a blazing light blinded her.
"Stop!" someone said from a speaker.
"That's my daughter!" Emily heard a familiar voice. Her mom.
She bit back her sob, frozen in place.
Police started toward her. They softly carried Bree and rushed her to the ambulance to be given a first-aid treatment. Olivia rushed to her daughter, her usual poised stance dissolved the moment she saw her crying.
"Mom!" she called out to her. She couldn't hold it anymore. She reached her limits and it was time for her to ask help from other people. "Mom, Taren's inside. T-there were more of them. They are like Taren. Please, help him!"
"Hush now, sweetie," Olivia pated her back, calming her daughter. Wilson stood behind her, a worried look on his face. "We'll make it alright."
Her eyes scanned the surrounding, and saw the security guard. The man just shook his head. Clearly, he knew somebody sneaked in and called the police.

"Emily Martin," Olivia said. "You have to eat something."
She was curled up to her room, refusing hospital treatment and meals. Her mother told her that Bree regain consciousness and had been discharged from the hospital. It had been three weeks now since the incident happen.
