I went to an amusement park and there was a sassy gay guy working there so then I thought what if he also has a boyfriend who works there and got inspiration to write this!

Summary: Dan and Phil working in an amusement park together.

*Phil's POV

"Again, again!" one of the many children I'm releasing from the ride cheers to his mom.

"This is your 7th time riding it, are you sure?" she says, clearly trying to convince him to get on a different ride.

He nods frantically and she sighs before getting back into the relatively long line for the roller coaster I'm operating.

It's quite a popular ride, so I get a lot of people coming to it on a daily basis, unlike Dan's, which is a small ride for kids that's quite old and boring compared to the many other rides in the park. Only a handful of kids come on it as it's basically just cars stuck down on a merry-go-round type platform that rotates, but he still gets paid the same since it's essentially the same job, just not as popular.

As I hear the bell go off signaling it's 11 o'clock, I smile brightly knowing it's only one more hour until I get to see Dan again. Any time separated is basically torture, even with these pretty fun jobs.

I find myself glancing at the clock over and over, the time seemingly going slower and slower with each look. I know Dan must feel the same and try to keep myself from checking the time in hopes that time would pass faster and from my perspective it almost seemed it did. Instead of only being 30 seconds later with each glance it'd be 7 minutes later.

Eventually it finally reached noon and as I spotted my replacement worker, I smiled, finished up the last few scans for the ride and started it up before hopping over the short fence and dashing past the worker towards the nearby ride Dan was at. As I saw the worker replacing Dan, I caught his attention and he ran towards me before almost tackling me in a hug.

"Ew, it's too hot for body contact, we're all sweaty," I say, laughing towards the end.

He laughs before replying, "Now how has it been so far?"

"Good enough, not much problems besides a couple of wristbands taking a few tries to scan."

"Oh, well hardly anyone's come to mine as usual," Dan said with a little giggle.

"Alright, now lets go get some food to eat, I'm starving," I said, reaching down to lightly tangle our fingers together before swinging our arms a little forwards and backwards.

We soon arrived at the food place where I got a small sandwich with some popcorn and Dan got a pretzel and a bag of chips. We sat in a table in the shade and began eating our food before I noticed Dan looking at me with his chin resting on one of his hands.

"What?" I asked, concerned that maybe the heat had gotten to him or something.

He smiled before replying, "How did I manage to get someone as wonderful as you?"

I took a deep breath, calming down quickly before smiling back and placing my hand over his resting on the table.

"I don't know, but I'm glad you did," I said, looking back at him with a shared look of complete and utter adoration.

After finishing our lunches relatively quickly, we still had quite a while before we had to go back. We threw away our trash and then sat back down, this time Dan sitting beside me rather than across from me.

He leaned his head onto me, entangling his fingers with mine. I turned and kissed the top of his head, and withdrew one of my hands from his to wrap my arm around him.

"I don't want to go baaaack," he said, drawing out the vowels.

"You know you have to, we go through this every day, Dan," I say, smiling at his cuteness.

"But that doesn't mean I want to go back and not be able to see you for a few more hours!"

"Aw, I don't want to either but we'll survive, okay?"

He sat, not replying, with a sad look on his face. I wrapped my arm tighter around him and he turned to bury his head in my chest. I felt sad seeing him like this, as I do everyday, but I know we'll have to separate soon.

I check the clock to see we only have ten minutes left together and decide to just sit there with him for the rest of it. I rest my head lightly over his so I wouldn't crush it.

I continue checking the time, waiting until there was about 5 minutes left to slowly move and try to get Dan up and on his way back. It wouldn't take us too long since we were sitting by the rides we work at.

"Bear, it's time to go back." I whisper softly, trying to get him up peacefully.

He groans quietly and snuggles more into my chest. I can't bring myself to just shove him off so I just lightly rock him, to which he finally starts to pick his head up, wrapping his arms around my torso.

I laugh quietly before trying to get up to no avail with the body dragging me down. I try to pull his arms off, to which he wraps them tighter.

I laugh before saying, "Come on, we only have a few minutes to get back."

He whines at this, but still takes his arms away. He crosses them across his chest, but I just hug him before he relents and wraps his arms around me too. I turn to kiss his cheek and pull away to which he pulls me back and into a short kiss. As we pull away I smile at him and he smiles back.

"Bye, my bear," I say starting to walk away.

"Bye, my lion."

Soooooooo it's been a while.....soz

Okay but for real though sorry that it's been so long! I don't have some excuse like "whoops school! Soz my dudes!" I'm just a lazy bum and I hope that at least you can forgive me cuz this is super long! Anyways, please comment on the last chapter saying if you'd rather it be a couple sequels here or an entirely separate story on its own (yes I know it's technically supposed to be a oneshot but  fight me) and hopefully it won't be another 4 months without an update.
