I groaned as I was slammed on the floor for the fifteenth time. The female holding me down pulled me up.

"You're good. Not good enough to beat me though."

"Clearly." I wheezed. This bítch is a fùcking ninja. My back ached from the power takedowns she used on me. She reached her hand out and I grasped it, allowing her to pull me up. She patted my back.

"There, there. You can sit down before we start training." I rolled my shoulders to relieve some pain.

"What kind of training?" I ask.

"We'll train you in ways that shitty excuse of a CEO never did. Follow me." She turned around and walked through the door. We walk down steps until we reach double doors. She pushed it open and stepped in the room. I walked inside in wonder. The room held many weapons. They varied from swords, daggers, maces, bows, guns. I walked up to the guns section in amazement.

"I'm guessing you're good at shooting." I nodded eagerly. She took a glock off the wall and handed it to me. "Show me."

She handed me a magazine. I slipped it in, turn off the safety, and cocked the gun. She took me to a shooting range and gave me headphones. I shot at the targets in a succession, hitting the bull's eye everytime. When I looked back at the woman to see her expression as slightly impressed.

"How did I do?" I asked hopefully.

"You did okay, surprisingly." I smirked, feeling my ego inflate.

"Don't get too happy. You could do better." I frowned, as my ego deflated. She turned around and headed back to the weapon room.

"Is there any other weapon you like to use?" I looked around the shelves. My eyes stopped at a weapon similar to my previous melee weapon I used to knock the guard out. Only, this weapon had a hooked blade at the end. It looked like the blade at the end of a scythe. I smiled and walked up to it. "You like that one?"

I nodded and she took it off the shelf. I held it in my hands with care. "Let's see what you can do with it." We walked into the training area. The woman leaned back on the wall. I spin around and slice the air with it. Then, I smoothly flipped in the air and swung it around me.

After my performance, the woman approached me and applauded. I crossed my legs and bowed.

"Now the real training starts." Two men walked through the door with one holding rope and another holding a chair. I tensed and stared at the men warily. She noticed this and said, "Relax. This isn't gonna hurt." The man put the chair down and the woman guided me towards it. I began to pull away. "What is this?" I didn't like where this was going.

"This is your training. You will be tied to chair and you have 3 hours to get yourself free." I panicked internally. I don't like being held down. "What happens if I don't get out in three hours?" I asked, afraid of the answer.

She smiled cynically. "You don't move on." I sat in the chair as the men tied the rope around me. When they're done, they begin to leave. "Wait! Don't leave me here." I whimper. Man, I'm a wuss. The girl stated, "We'll be watching. The timer begins now."

Before she leaves, she adds, "My name is Jessica." Finally, I could stop calling her woman.

I sat there and breathed heavily. Okay, how will I do this? I struggled against the ropes briefly. Dang, this was tight. I can't do this. I began to panic, struggling against the ropes aggressively. I needed to calm down, but I couldn't. My breathing became quicker, I was light-headed and was starting to see fuzzy and then, nothing.

I woke up and I was still in the chair. I wondered much time I had left. I looked at the chair. It looked standard. I needed to get out this chair. The tip of my foot bent to give myself momentum, I swung back and broke the chair. The ropes loosened and I pulled the dang thing off me. I stood up shakily and looked around. The door opened and Jessie stepped into the room.

"That was fun." I stated, stretching my arms. She leered. "Looked fun too." I frowned. Why did she have to come for me? I shoved past her and walked out the door. Her laugh echoed behind me.

"Come on pull up! Higher, let's go!" I struggle to do the 50th pull up. "Drop, let's go! Fifty push ups!" Jessie hounded me. I breathe heavily as I did my push-ups. When I was done, she yelled at me. "Take a cool down lap!" I run slowly around the room, trying to even my breathing. Jessie ran next to me. "What's next?" I breathed out. "Sit-ups." She answered. Ok, I can do this. I sat and she held my feet. I counted off, "1,2,3..."

I dropped down on the mat, tired and drained. My muscles ached and my body was sore. This is worse then when I was with Grey. "You trying to kill me, Jess?" She shook her head and sat down next to me. "Didn't I tell you my name was Jessica?" I shrugged. "I like giving people nicknames." Jess frowned.

"I don't like nicknames." I smirked. "Well if you're going to put me through hell then I'm going to call you Jess." She flicked me in the back of the head. "Ow, fúck! Why?" I pouted. "Because my name's Jessica." I rolled my eyes.

"Okay, Jess." Another sharp thump to my head. "Ow!" Damn this girl did not like jokes.

"What's next?" I asked.

"Nothing, trainings's over. Get some rest." I fist pumped the air. Training was insane. We've been going hard for several weeks now. I still wasn't allowed to leave the compound. It was so boring the only thing I could do was train. I hadn't seen Eli often either. It was a good thing though. Something about him was disturbing. I thought about John, the closest thing I had to a friend in a long time. I'd probably never see him again.
