Dumb/Cliché Fanfic Thing: Unknown Location
When the girl wakes up and realizes she isn't in her home, but then right afterwards she remembers she's at his house. It simply doesn't make sense.
If I were to go to a cousin's house and spend the night, as crazy as it sounds, I wouldn't question where I was right after waking up (who's even awake enough to question that?). I've taken a nap while I was doing something on my phone, and when I woke up I immediately went right back to what I was doing before I was even considered fully awake (to be fair, I was startled awake by a noise).
However, changing rooms in a house overnight I can understand a bit more. If it's a part of the house the girl hasn't been to before, how would she even know it's his house? However, if you had any logic, you'd assume (as he's the only one in the house) he moved you here and it's a room somewhere in his home.
