Dumb/Cliché Fanfic Thing: Capitalization
I personally just find this annoying, but when the author doesn't capitalize names, places, the first letter of a sentence, or anything else that needs to be capitalized! I will give a pass to words that have more then one capital letter in them (ex. McCabe, McPhee, etc) but otherwise nope!
The shift key is rather easy to press, and if you don't like to hold your finger there for a second to make it capitalized then just use the caps lock. Besides, it makes your story look more neat and worth reading.
Then there's the opposite side of the spectrum: people that capitalize everything/random Words throughout A Sentence. It rubs me the wrong way everytime and I can't keep reading it!
