Dumb/Cliché Fanfic Thing: Bathroom Stuff
Personally, I don't mind the lack of bathroom trips/periods in stories.
Like, I'd rather not read about the girl going to the bathroom, pooping, wiping 5 times to clean her butt, flushing the toilet, washing and drying her hands, then going out the bathroom door. You don't usually read about it in "real" published books anyways. You can just assume she does it and move on.
....And yes, this is technically not a dumb or cliché fanfic thing.
