Aliens in the Attic

Chapter Fourteen

Now they, Sofia, Tom, and Jake thinking a way to stop this invasion. Sofia had an idea "We need a clean shot at his neck" they looked up to see the distance between them and the alien and Tom stated, "I'm goin' up".

Sofia was a little scared for Tom; who was she kidding, she was terrified of him. He was going to climb up a pole to try and shot the biggest alien on Earth. But of course, she was never going to tell that to anybody.

Despite the crucial situation they were in, Jake saw the opportunity to tease her, "Don't worry my dear Sofia, I'm sure your boyfriend is going to be okay". Tom was so concentrated on climbing that he didn't hear a word but Sofia anyways stomped on Jake's foot.

When he was done trying to take the pain away, he declared "Oh, my gosh. They're beacons", Sofia turned to look at the sky "Oh holy shit, he's calling the invasion", she looked at Tom and screamed at him "You better not fú*k this up Pearson!".

The twins reappeared and announced "I got it! Tom! Tom, I found it", he nodded at them and turned to his cousin and Sofia "Get him to turn around!".

The best friends nodded at each other "Hey! Down here, you prehistoric space scum!", that was Jake and shot his paintball gun at the alien, "What is that ugly thing blocking this view? Oh right, is you the giant asswipe!".

Finally, they got him to turn around and he tried to step on them but they quickly reacted and moved the other way, Jake told him "Is that all ya got?"

Sofia yelled "Tom! Take the shot!" and Jake yelled too "Shoot him!", Tom tried to point at his neck but he couldn't do it "His collar's still in the way". Sofia noticed something rising from the woods and then she saw it "Look out! The ugly one got big!", Now there was panic in everyone's voices.

"Hurry. Do it, Tom!" screamed Sofia with fear in her eyes.

Jake asked out loud "What was that?" and they heard Tom saying "You messed with the wrong mathlete".

Tom held on the pole as if his life was depending on it, "Tom whatever you do, don't let go!" Sofia screamed, "I wasn't planning on it!" was his response.

The twins had the controller that controlled the Commander, they had one dangerous alien on the command. They began to use the control to combat the other alien, "He's good" stated Art.

"Sparks! Reverse the machine", those were Tom's first words when he off the pole.

The other alien was beating the crap out of the Commander "Nothing's working", Sofia appeared behind them with Jake and Tom hot in her track "Give it to me" and she made a series of combos that made the Commander give the other a kick where the sun doesn't shine.

Art was impressed "Crude", and Tim shrugged but still proud of his sister "But effective". Tom appeared from behind and hugged her "That was awesome". At first he hesitated, but he strongly hugged her; when they let go of each other, the blush on their cheeks was so strong that they all could see it at night.

Thanks to Hannah the tension was over when she announced "Tommy, he's done", then Sofia used the control to push both aliens in the machine making them really small.

The machine collapsed and they were still, standing in front of it. Once it exploded they were pushed to the ground.  When it disappeared, Sofia rushed to her little brother and hugged him "It's finally freaking over!". The Pearson kids regrouped, " Bethany!" screamed the youngest girl and her sister replied "Hannah, are you okay?", she replied "Yeah".

They were all reunited "Did you guys see that?" said Jake with a proud smile on his face, "Great job, Hannah" said Tim hugging her and blushing at the same time. She smiled and complimented the others "Snugs was great. So were you guys". Bethany knew that it was not over when she looked up and saw a bunch of other ships coming to Earth, "Tom, what about the others? There's so many". Snuggles grabbed his walkie and announced to the aliens "Retreat. Retreat. The machine is destroyed. We have been outsmarted by the humans; the invasion has failed. Retreat to Zirkon right away."

The group of kids approached the place where the machine was built, Tom spoke "He's gone.It's over. It's all over", and Sofia to lighten the mood said "Oh my God, finally I can sleep without being afraid that one of them will take me in the middle of the night"

Tom said to Snugs, "Thanks, Snugs, for everything", then his cousin said with a kind smile "You're all right for a space maggot", Sofia said, "Yeah, you were the coolest alien to walk on Earth, I'm gonna miss you".

Hannah seemed confused as in why they were saying goodbye "Miss him? He's staying here, with us.Please don't go, you can be a part of our family" Snuggles was touched and smiled at them but then he took out a hologram with his family on it.

Her older brother told her "Han, I think he's already got a family", Hannah smiled sadly, "My family".

They were now on the roof because Snugs was going to take his ship to go to his home. Hannah gave him sock monkey so that he doesn't forget her "Goodbye, Hannah" and they pulled each other for a long hug.

"This is the saddest thing I have ever seen" said Sofia removing a tear that was falling down on her cheek.
