HERA POV

"Heramarie! Don't you dare hold his hands!" Dumadaugdong na sabi ng ni Hero, nananaliksik ang mga mata nito sa galit, napahakbang ito ng di oras papunta sa amin.

"alright! Alright! I won't! See..." Mabilis kong sabi dahil pangamba, first time kong nakita galit na galit si Hero, napailing tuloy si Derrick.

"Ti frikiá (What a freak)" derrick say.

I saw Hero jaw tightens while his hands forming to a fist, I signalled Derrick to go upstairs and stopped a very angry Hero.

"He calls me freak! Now I want you to call off the fucking deal, Hera!" He said angrily.

"Baby i cant do that! please.... We already talked about this!, just this once please, I do whatever you say just let it pass. Baby I can't pull out the deal, you have to understand, we had a contract to that effect, your a business man, you must know that!."

"So you are siding him! Are you trying to defy me Heramarie? When I said you pull out the deal, you pull out the deal! I can make and build  your own art gallery!" He said furiously.

"Oh your impossible! The most unreasonable man i ever meet! can't you understand this is nothing to do with what you can do! Damn that jealousy of yours that you can't think straight! This is about integrity, Self respect and etiquette. I can't say no because you say so. Be reasonable Hero!"

"Now i'm Unreasonable!" He backfire.

"Yes you are hero! Your making me sick!" I yelled at him in a loud voice.

"Shit! F*cking hell! I don't want you to do any business.with that man! I can provide you everything, I'm your boyfriend remember! Or you have forgotten!" He raked his hair with his fingers.

"Did you just hear yourself? oh my gosh! Hero you are not thinking Straight are you, yes I know your my boyfriend but it doesn't mean that you can just dictate me to do things just because you don't want. Try to understand Hero. The deal has already in effect before we have a relationship. The invitation has been already given and the date has been already announced. If I will back out now, Sapphires identity will be tainted, for what? because of your damn jealousy! I work hard for this, did I told you this is my dream. You supposed to support me not to pull me down because of some immature reasons."

I can see hurt in Hero eyes. He didn't say a word. He just stare at me as cold as ice. I know I deeply hurt him by my words. Guilt envelop my heart, I reached my hand to him but he turn his back on me.

"Baby please try to understand" I said but Hero just shrugged his shoulders and walk out the main door without saying anything.

My legs become weak as I stopped myself for crying out loud. I wanted to run after him but I need to stand on my ground. He must learn the hard way.

I sit on the couch trembling, I've hurt the man I love but I have too.

"Cry it out dolly, Hai ferito lui e te stesso, dannatamente mi dispiace per aver fatto una frattura tra te e il tuo ( you've hurt him and yourself, damn i'm sorry for making a rift between you and your man.)" derricks words surprised me.

"Perché il tuo parlo in italiano? (Why are you speaking in Italian?, " I asked as I look up. I can see pitty and guilt in Derrick eyes.

"Anche per un cambiamento, il mio amore e credo che il tuo uomo sappia la mia nativa (well for a change, my love and i just guess your man understand my native tounge)" he laugh as he said that.

"Yes he did, he was so angry when you call him freak. He wanted me to pull out the deal, but I just can't" I said shaking, tears rolled down on.my cheeks one by one.

"Then, do it! I will not hold it.against you." He surprised me even more.

"But the contract," I asked in slow voice. Unbelieving his words.

"Hera! Hera! I am not only your agent but I am your friend. I know how much you love him. Didn't he mean the whole world to you? I guess you hurt him because you choose me"

"I didn't choose you, I just told him that he can't just told me to do things because he say so"

"Yes to you that's what you mean but his jealousy tells him the other way around. and because you didn't run after him, you hurt him even more. Can you see he is a possessive and obsess about you."

"is that so?"

"I'm afraid yes"

"Oh god! what I have done!"

"Just gave him time, so I guess I need to go back to Greece without your paintings"he smiled boyishly.

"But you can bring my paintings, we already announce the date of exhibit, what about the...."

"No Hera, as your friend, I advise you to settle the matter with Owen, I don't want to see you to cry a river because of me! And for me, I don't want to be the source of your heart aches" He said teasingly.

"talaga? Peksman, okey lang sayo?" i asked

"Oo na man, peksman, so I hope this is not goodbye" he said smiling.

Derricks knows to utter a little tagalog. I teach him whenever he went to the Philippines.

I chuckled as he said that. I was relieved that I have a great friend on his person. I hugged him and thank him wholeheartedly.

Damn now how can I mend the rift between me and Hero.
